You make me feel like Nehemiah, April

THEY DON'T BELIEVE IN ME, YOU DON’T BELIEVE IN ME APRIL....
(Nehemiah 4:2)
And he spake before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said,
What are these feeble Jews doing? will they fortify themselves? will
they sacrifice? will they make an end in a day? will they revive the
stones out of the heaps of rubbish, seeing they are burned?

--------Because God Believes in me, I rebuild (my life from rubble)
* dedicated to Sixpence None the Richer "Dont Dream Its Over"
-------Spirit of Nehemiah Be With Me...please (Nehemiah 4:13)

A mighty wall impregnable
now treaded upon the by the soles of
your sandals
there was a war within my heart that
left me decimated
subduing the strongmen, disabling the archer
from the falling bricks descended the bow and quiver
in the hour of death the trumpeter abandons his trumpet
no longer can I hear the sound of victory impending
these are the ruins of my life besieged
Her name:
April the Ammonite, the Arabian, the Ashodite

God, you look so sexy
but your eyes meet mine like a keen swordsman
like a flesh wound to my emotions
drawing blood
you cut your eyes away reducing me
to loneliness, rejection and
the cold winds of night
causing the guards of my wall to shiver grievously
the foundation: my confidence
gives way when you walk past me
utterly forsaking

Because you don' want me
I feel like everything has fallen apart
my hope is like a thousand pieces of wood, mud and stone
trampled by barbaric nations
the mighty Jerusalem has capitulated
the mighty Jerusalem has capitulated
my faith
to your loveless evasion
I was stout and tall, thick and immutable before you came

(April, even though you think I'm worthless, God will help me to
rebuild and move on)

(Nehemiah 4:4-5)
Hear us, O our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on
their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity. Do
not cover up their guilt or blot out their sins from your sight, for
they have thrown insults in the face of [a] the builders.

Don't Dream Its Over Lyrics
----------------
There is freedom within, there is freedom without
Try to catch the deluge in a paper cup
There's a battle ahead, many battles are lost
But you'll never see the end of the road
While you're traveling with me

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

Now I'm towing my car, there's a hole in the roof
My possessions are causing me suspicion but there's no proof
In the paper today tales of war and of waste
But you turn right over to the T.V. page

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win

Now I'm walking again to the beat of a drum
And I'm counting the steps to the door of your heart
Only shadows ahead barely clearing the roof
Get to know the feeling of liberation and relief

Hey now, hey now
Don't dream it's over
Hey now, hey now
When the world comes in
They come, they come
To build a wall between us
We know they won't win
