Often
You think about death
And revolving chaos in your mind
Straddling parallel universes
Planes of existence
Virtue and Corruption – just deeds and unjust deeds
Too much to bear

You see yourself falling

Endlessly

You try and reach for the light
Illuminating above
But the heaviness of your heart descends to
Fires of hell below
Burning

Life smells of smoke and ash
Soot and ember
It is brandished "pointless, fleeting"
Devoid of satisfaction
You want to believe in the good
Its what keeps you suspended...
The world wouldn't be so evil
If hope was somehow palpable or tangible
It wouldnt be damned...
If you could just feel

John 20:24-25
Now Thomas, called the Twin, one of the twelve, was not with them
when Jesus came. The other disciples therefore said to him, "We have
seen the Lord." So he said to them, "Unless I see in His hands the print of the
nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and put my hand
into His side, I will not believe."

Verse 29
Jesus said to him, "Thomas, because you have seen Me, you have
believed. Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
