The Last Supper Of Steph's Three Point Shot

* Jesus pray for me
* Luke pray for me
* Saints pray for me
* Dedicated to #TonyandSteph, #StephisJudas

As soon as Judas took the bread, Satan entered into him. So Jesus told him, “What you are about to do, do quickly.” – John 13:27

+--------The Last Supper Of Steph's Three Point Shot

Steph, stare disdainfully
over flickering flames of
flattery that dance atop the
wick- deafen your ears to this
insipid choral singing; Your three point
shot as your assumed Lord and
Savior, bearded, tall, Galilean, full
of 73 regular season wins’ delusion,
a soul inundated with lying sitting
at table with 11 disciples of
your past season’s accolades, the
wine, the bread and the humming,
oblivious to its affects on the NBA’s
postseason. You must rise and go,
steal away behind darkness’ curtain,
tiptoeing into the synagogue
of “dunking and driving into the paint
every play,” the snake slithering
up the backside of the tree silently
hissing at Adam. Forsaking your gold
jumpshot for 30 pieces of silver is
worth stats diminished. If you betray
it, you’ll truly be free. The prophesied
Finals comes only if your former
“Perimeter Messiah” hangs bloody
on a tree of inactivity, his hands driven
in by nails of soldiers who share
your resentment.

----Luke 22:1-6
Now the Festival of Unleavened Bread, called the Passover, was approaching, and the chief priests and the teachers of the law were looking for some way to get rid of Jesus, for they were afraid of the people. Then Satan entered Judas, called Iscariot, one of the Twelve. And Judas went to the chief priests and the officers of the temple guard and discussed with them how he might betray Jesus. They were delighted and agreed to give him money. He consented, and watched for an opportunity to hand Jesus over to them when no crowd was present
