I knew the true war began when the
upheaval ended. God watched the
melodrama unfold intently from His throne.
I saw it in his eyes hollowed by defeat,
behind blades clashing, beneath screams,
a resignation to rapacious malice, intending
to blight all of creation with his sin
somehow, passing on to man scars of an
ethereal psyche of lost identity, an angel
of light badly wounded in battle flung forcefully,
wings clipped, from Heaven down to nether
shadows seething. So whenever a
prayer is uttered to God by his people,
all of us Archangels cast each other a glance
and nod, solemnly. We know to again
unsheathe our swords and fight. To blow the
trumpet and rush down to a Satanic earth,
so evil wont ever prevail against the Good.
