A Very Public Address

+--------"A Very Public Address; Elijah's Prayer to God On Mount Carmel"

And who else has the Word that will satisfy?
What does one say to 450 frothy-
mouthed, wild-eyed sex crazed prophets
of Baal, horrific scars etched into their
arms by ritualistic blades, gaudy tattoos
of anthropomorphic human-bull hybrids that
deface their maimed torsos and hands,
who in true pagan delirium before all peoples
hail a fraudulent god as God, our Creator?
I am at a loss for the proper diction. I am
disquieted when I consider the anguish of
babies consigned to the altar to die, by mothers
whose souls turned on their hearts young
growing up in this dysfunction. No,
the only speech that will persuade now is fire.
A black scorn cloud of thick smoke in the sky.
If this bull burns to ash, char in the ditch, all
would understand it as God’s voice bemoaning:
“ENOUGH!!!”

---1 Kings 18:17-40
When he saw Elijah, he asked, “Is it you—the biggest troublemaker in Israel?” Elijah answered, “I have not made trouble in Israel. You and your father’s family have made all this trouble by not obeying the Lord’s commands. You have gone after the Baals. Now tell all Israel to meet me at Mount Carmel. Also bring the four hundred fifty prophets of Baal and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat at Jezebel’s table.” So Ahab called all the Israelites and those prophets to Mount Carmel. Elijah approached the people and said, “How long will you not decide between two choices? If the Lord is the true God, follow him, but if Baal is the true God, follow him!” But the people said nothing. Elijah said, “I am the only prophet of the Lord here, but there are four hundred fifty prophets of Baal. Bring two bulls. Let the prophets of Baal choose one bull and kill it and cut it into pieces. Then let them put the meat on the wood, but they are not to set fire to it. I will prepare the other bull, putting the meat on the wood but not setting fire to it. You prophets of Baal, pray to your god, and I will pray to the Lord. The god who answers by setting fire to his wood is the true God.” All the people agreed that this was a good idea. Then Elijah said to the prophets of Baal, “There are many of you, so you go first. Choose a bull and prepare it. Pray to your god, but don’t start the fire.” So they took the bull that was given to them and prepared it. They prayed to Baal from morning until noon, shouting “Baal, answer us!” But there was no sound, and no one answered. They danced around the altar they had built. At noon Elijah began to make fun of them. “Pray louder!” he said. “If Baal really is a god, maybe he is thinking, or busy, or traveling! Maybe he is sleeping so you will have to wake him!” The prophets prayed louder, cutting themselves with swords and spears until their blood flowed, which was the way they worshiped. The afternoon passed, and the prophets continued to act like this until it was time for the evening sacrifice. But no voice was heard; Baal did not answer, and no one paid attention. Then Elijah said to all the people, “Now come to me.” So they gathered around him, and Elijah rebuilt the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. He took twelve stones, one stone for each of the twelve tribes, the number of Jacob’s sons. (The Lord changed Jacob’s name to Israel.) Elijah used these stones to rebuild the altar in honor of the Lord. Then he dug a ditch around the altar that was big enough to hold about thirteen quarts of seed. Elijah put the wood on the altar, cut the bull into pieces, and laid the pieces on the wood. Then he said, “Fill four jars with water, and pour it on the meat and on the wood.” Then Elijah said, “Do it again,” and they did it again. Then he said, “Do it a third time,” and they did it the third time. So the water ran off the altar and filled the ditch. At the time for the evening sacrifice, the prophet Elijah went near the altar. “Lord, you are the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel,” he prayed. “Prove that you are the God of Israel and that I am your servant. Show these people that you commanded me to do all these things. Lord, answer my prayer so these people will know that you, Lord, are God and that you will change their minds.” Then fire from the Lord came down and burned the sacrifice, the wood, the stones, and the ground around the altar. It also dried up the water in the ditch. When all the people saw this, they fell down to the ground, crying, “The Lord is God! The Lord is God!” Then Elijah said, “Capture the prophets of Baal! Don’t let any of them run away!” The people captured all the prophets. Then Elijah led them down to the Kishon Valley, where he killed them.

+--------"You Disgust Me; The Thoughts Of The Officer Of The High Priest After Striking Jesus On The Cheek

On the Day of Atonement, I often close
my eyes and pretend smoke from incense
is smoke of the Bush aflame that spoke
to Moses. The censer full of burning coals
my soul’s escort to hallowed hot sands of
Midian, my sandals shed, my conscience
primed to rage against a Pharaoh forever.
What a privilege to bow before a son of Aaron,
brother of Moses, Levite of Levites, as he bows
before our ineffable God! expiating our sins –
sharing with us Noah’s joy as he left the Ark
to start a whole new life. So don’t dare talk
tersely, churlishly to Caiaphas in the council,
bum!- wine stained malodorous rags for a “robe”,
a beard disheveled, scabbed hands unwashed.
False, blasphemous, prophet! Friend of sinners!
Stay reverent, soft-spoken, eyes cast downward
to Hades. Tomorrow we'll have Rome send you
there by wood and nails. There, no blood of any
lamb can save the Forsaken.

---John 18:19-23
The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine. Jesus answered him, I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing. Why askest thou me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said. And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answerest thou the high priest so? Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smitest thou me?

+--------"The Duchess On The Seas (Of My Heart)"

Duchess, my dateless, loveless
life is a band of disciples huddled together
in a wooden vessel, a band of twelve
brothers who drift on lonely rocky seas,
but drift in earnest- bumbling fishermen,
tax collectors, a double-crosser, set
apart and called by Love but unable
to find it beneath the passing of many moons.
And deep down my heart wants you to come
save me. Your brunette hair something
like divinity. A stately, royal gait as a gift
from a Heavenly Father. I know you can
walk on these waters of my singleness
as dry land, insouciantly, and call me forth
from the teetering boat of romantic
rejection, to step upon sinking waves of
my forlornness with a kiss from your lips.
If you invite me to coffee, I will get out and
brave the waves. I will not sink will not drown.

---Matthew 14:28-29
Peter said to Him, "Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water." And He said, "Come!" And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

+--------Taylor Swift, Take Me Away From Here, Like An Angel Would

Taylor these are parlous times.
My heart is in stasis, forlorn and transfixed
at the ghastly sight of my prior failed attempts
at finding love with cruel, cruel girls-
Lot gazing at brimstone in Gomorrah and
at Sodom and burning, his old neighbors
wailing for him, my emotions wailing, my
soul suffocating in the smoke and ash
of a damned city, sulfur all around me
like loneliness...eroding my self confidence
like my feet melted down to the bone
seeping in the ground beneath them. Oh babes,
wont you just grab me by the hand and whisk
me away somewhere? Starbucks maybe? A
wink from your blue eyes on a date, a kiss from
your heavenly lips an archangel in full flight
requested by God to keep me from harm, eyes
red. We would never look back, I swear! All
the silly girls who shaded, salt mounds forever.

---Genesis 19:16
When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the LORD was merciful to them

The angel must have heard me tossing
and turning in my sleep for equity, groaning
as one wounded by injustice, sweating
apoplectically then bleeding, agony of the worst
menstrual cramp, the pain pure and unbridled,
I have known the torment of Eve’s curse
in my body. My indignance is a violent tempest
bearing down on Zion demanding answers
- Adam staring at the serpent screaming "WHY?"
...How long till the crass Romans bake moldy bread
mixed with rat feces the way we do? Children plead
for parents, sip sewer water from tiny hands
as fat surly unscrupulous soldiers of the throne
indulge in wine. When will Caesar know the
selfish civic votes of The Senate that redistribute
his land and debase his cultural identity, disgrace
his religion, excessively tax his income?
A savior must be born to save us. Yes, it is time.

He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away.

---Luke 1:46-55
And Mary said, My soul doth magnify the Lord, And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour. For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed. For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name. And his mercy is on them that fear him from generation to generation. He hath shewed strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts. He hath put down the mighty from their seats, and exalted them of low degree. He hath filled the hungry with good things; and the rich he hath sent empty away. He hath helped his servant Israel, in remembrance of his mercy; As he spake to our fathers, to Abraham, and to his seed for ever.

A Message From God

+--------A Message From God; Ehud's Words To Eglon After Stabbing Him In The  Parlour

All alone, death now whispers its secrets
to the sly left-handed in a parlour, a verboten
exchange of spirit through a cold desolate
breeze in summer stirred only by murder-  the
way a face looks when the soul departs, and
how, albeit briefly, the eyes and body
tinge ashen. Now I fully know your subtle
king’s smirk of condescension, Eglon. How
you interpreted as some accruing of occultic
power and knowledge in Moab, the killing
of scores of Israelites in the City of Palm
Trees. And who knew the prophet back then,
the dagger with two edges I crafted
and just today girded about my right thigh?
Yes, listen closely to the words God speaks:
“Die slowly in wicked obesity, your fat pagan
face lying flat on the earth. Long Live Israel!!!!”

--Judges 3:12-30
And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done evil in the sight of the Lord. And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees. So the children of Israel served Eglon the king of Moab eighteen years. But when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord, the Lord raised them up a deliverer, Ehud the son of Gera, a Benjamite, a man lefthanded: and by him the children of Israel sent a present unto Eglon the king of Moab. But Ehud made him a dagger which had two edges, of a cubit length; and he did gird it under his raiment upon his right thigh. And he brought the present unto Eglon king of Moab: and Eglon was a very fat man. And when he had made an end to offer the present, he sent away the people that bare the present. But he himself turned again from the quarries that were by Gilgal, and said, I have a secret errand unto thee, O king: who said, Keep silence. And all that stood by him went out from him. And Ehud came unto him; and he was sitting in a summer parlour, which he had for himself alone. And Ehud said, I have a message from God unto thee. And he arose out of his seat. And Ehud put forth his left hand, and took the dagger from his right thigh, and thrust it into his belly: And the haft also went in after the blade; and the fat closed upon the blade, so that he could not draw the dagger out of his belly; and the dirt came out. Then Ehud went forth through the porch, and shut the doors of the parlour upon him, and locked them. When he was gone out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of the parlour were locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in his summer chamber. And they tarried till they were ashamed: and, behold, he opened not the doors of the parlour; therefore they took a key, and opened them: and, behold, their lord was fallen down dead on the earth. And Ehud escaped while they tarried, and passed beyond the quarries, and escaped unto Seirath. And it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew a trumpet in the mountain of Ephraim, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mount, and he before them. And he said unto them, Follow after me: for the Lord hath delivered your enemies the Moabites into your hand. And they went down after him, and took the fords of Jordan toward Moab, and suffered not a man to pass over. And they slew of Moab at that time about ten thousand men, all lusty, and all men of valour; and there escaped not a man. So Moab was subdued that day under the hand of Israel. And the land had rest fourscore years.

Men’s elbows lodged into the smalls

skin suffocating skin, children whimpering
into their folded forearms bemused over it all…
sharing an aggrieved sweaty psyche, candlelit,

one body in a stuffy room despairing over
crucifixion. If they only knew I left the nails
and wood behind for Greater Glory. All my
former terror and pains are just flesh wounds
now, memoirs of Eve's Eden written on my hands,
Adam's anguish on my feet and ribs. So I come,
then, with utterances of a new tongue from a
new world: "Peace!" The first word
of an Angelic language I will finish teaching

anxiety and fear into to the Lake of Fire forever.

Brian, I imagine your birth as momentous,
arrows of the demise of #CLYA’s men’s group
flying overhead as you lay wrapped in
divine linen, ensconced in a papyrus basket
on the bank of the Nile....set adrift to (one day)
liberate Catholic people from Pharaoh’s reign
of catechetical ignorance. And since, your
heroics are widely known: the ten plagues
of apologetical discourse you discharged on fears
of new converts, blood of your healing
prayers on doorposts of illnesses, hyssop
in the basin, to barter for us with a hooded
death angel with red irises not easily appeased.
I remember your face, luminescent, as you
ran down halls of the Watchtower as Mt. Sinai
with Ten chiseled Commandments of the
Crossing The Goal series! Mighty, you slew all
logistical/scheduling nemeses to drafting
a charter for CMC as simply as a war won
against Amelek, Midian, Canaan. And now,
before you go to Texas, take time to lean on
your accomplishments' staff atop Mount Abarim.
CLYA is in the Promised Land now, thanks to you.
And don’t worry, men's group's in capable hands
of Chris Castellano, Joshua Son of Nun.

--Deuteronomy 34:1-9;
And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. And the Lord shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan, And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea, And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar. And the Lord said unto him, This is the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see it with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither. So Moses the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the Lord. And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day. And Moses was an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated. And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping and mourning for Moses were ended. And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the Lord commanded Moses.

+--------The Writing On Walls Of My Singleness
Taylor, my singleness is Belshazzar
King of Babylon with an unkempt
beard, his armpits of dejected lovers
unwashed and musty, odious
aroma of life unmarried. Here he
convenes a banquet to mock my
loneliness. And all the silly girls who
spurned my offers to date them, fools! his
vapid concubines smeared in ghastly
gaudy eyeliners happy to gorge on
dainty delectable dishes of inflated egos
they aren’t even gracious for. All are
pagans to me! Tainted souls with filthy
fingers, drool profaning, at the table,
the sacred golden and silver vessels
of my romantic intentions! Oh babes wont
you crash the feast? Your love for me
a stark skeletal hand manifesting
behind them tracing in alluring dark matter
of destiny “Mene Mene” “Tekel” “Upharsin”
…or “Tony Conti go to Starbucks with me,
I am yours…love, Taylor Swift” on the wall.

----- Daniel 5
Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and drank wine before the thousand. Belshazzar, whiles he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, might drink therein. Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines, drank in them. They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass, of iron, of wood, and of stone. In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over against the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another. The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. And the king spake, and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom. Then came in all the king's wise men: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof. Then was king Belshazzar greatly troubled, and his countenance was changed in him, and his lords were astonied. Now the queen by reason of the words of the king and his lords came into the banquet house: and the queen spake and said, O king, live for ever: let not thy thoughts trouble thee, nor let thy countenance be changed: There is a man in thy kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the days of thy father light and understanding and wisdom, like the wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar thy father, the king, I say, thy father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans, and soothsayers; Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation. Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spake and said unto Daniel, Art thou that Daniel, which art of the children of the captivity of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry? I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee. And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me, that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation thereof: but they could not shew the interpretation of the thing: And I have heard of thee, that thou canst make interpretations, and dissolve doubts: now if thou canst read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation thereof, thou shalt be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about thy neck, and shalt be the third ruler in the kingdom. Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation. O thou king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar thy father a kingdom, and majesty, and glory, and honour: And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages, trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down. But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him: And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will. And thou his son, O Belshazzar, hast not humbled thine heart, though thou knewest all this; But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written. And this is the writing that was written, Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin. This is the interpretation of the thing: Mene; God hath numbered thy kingdom, and finished it. Tekel; Thou art weighed in the balances, and art found wanting. Peres; Thy kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians. Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him, that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom. In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain. And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two years old.

+--------"Peace!!!; Jesus' Words To His Disciples In The Upper Room"

I saw the sheer terror in Noah
when I sealed the boat before the storm,
a hammer thin nails and dry gopher wood,
the risk of not knowing on his face,
a dim candle of his hope barely flickering in
faith’s pitch darkness, wavy. I sent a wind to
raise Moses’ spasmodic arms in authority at
the Red Sea, too spooked by echoes of
chariots, flashbacks of the Egyptian he slew
and covered in sands- innocent blood then
staining his sandals he had to remove
when I returned to him as fire in the Bush. I
likewise sensed the hesitancy of spirit in
Elijah atop of Mount Carmel, as 450
prophets of Baal lusted for his blood, to
invoke my vindicating fire. And what I said to
them, I now say to you all…Peace! Dont be
afraid, I am still alive. The terror of crucifixion
behind us, only these scars remain.

Secrets For The Damned

+--------Secrets For The Damned; Saul's Request Of The Witch At Endor

Oh to glean forbidden secrets
from dirt…that leery counsel of the forsaken!
Will desperation
give a whiff of that esoteric scent of
sacred soil that leads to intimate
knowledge of an animated earth, a Caring
Mother with tender hands cradling
me as I tremble, whispering
answers of my fate in my soul’s ear? Will
the intentions of a ritual crack the tomb
of the Prophet, pry him from death’s rest
and reassemble his wise bones? Tell me,
Witch, things God doesn’t want me to hear.
Sing your lulling spirit song, meddle for me,
in the prayers heaven ignores.
When you conjure Samuel, ask if I’ll finally
vanquish the Philistines…or if I’ll die cursed,
Goliath’s scorn echoing in my godless grave.

----- 1 Samuel 28:5-23
And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled. And when Saul enquired of the Lord, the Lord answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets. Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that hath a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that hath a familiar spirit at Endor. And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray thee, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto thee. And the woman said unto him, Behold, thou knowest what Saul hath done, how he hath cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then layest thou a snare for my life, to cause me to die? And Saul sware to her by the Lord, saying, As the Lord liveth, there shall no punishment happen to thee for this thing. Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto thee? And he said, Bring me up Samuel. And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spake to Saul, saying, Why hast thou deceived me? for thou art Saul. And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what sawest thou? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth. And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man cometh up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself. And Samuel said to Saul, Why hast thou disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answereth me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called thee, that thou mayest make known unto me what I shall do. Then said Samuel, Wherefore then dost thou ask of me, seeing the Lord is departed from thee, and is become thine enemy? And the Lord hath done to him, as he spake by me: for the Lord hath rent the kingdom out of thine hand, and given it to thy neighbour, even to David: Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the Lord, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the Lord done this thing unto thee this day. Moreover the Lord will also deliver Israel with thee into the hand of the Philistines: and to morrow shalt thou and thy sons be with me: the Lord also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines. Then Saul fell straightway all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night. And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, thine handmaid hath obeyed thy voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto thy words which thou spakest unto me. Now therefore, I pray thee, hearken thou also unto the voice of thine handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread before thee; and eat, that thou mayest have strength, when thou goest on thy way. But he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.

postulant praying to God for the mercy
of water. To familiarize these with the
full sweeping vigor of complete
desolation, like Eve and Adam livid
at each other, the angel with the
flaming sword livid at them.
God livid at them.) But another time then.
One day you’ll feel the heat, I’ll come
across you weak, thirsty. And I'll smile as
I watch your faith burn. Your white joy
turned black smoke of a soul completely
bereft of hope, in a wilderness of fire.

The Force Of Who We Really Are

* Jesus pray for me
* John pray for me

+--------"The Force Of Who We Really Are; The Thoughts Of Jesus In Gethsemane Before Saying 'I AM'"

In life we all have those gardens,
at times torch lit, with vines like
snakes that hang like loose cords
even with the neck, and poison
ivy shrewdly shrouded in shrubs fixated
on degrading innocence, lusting for the
sandal or bare foot veering off
the beaten path. Even if betrayed
by the insincere kiss of a friend
blinded by bias, flanked by a marauding
mob blood thirsty for imminent failures,
we must never lose sight of who
we truly are. If we believe it, we are
always strong to affirm our future
success in choas, to say I AM he
who will survive any whip, hammer and
nail, to the great dismay of those
adversaries around us standing violently
crazed in foreboding darkness awaiting
our demise....their earth shaken.

----- John 18:1-7
When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples. And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus ofttimes resorted thither with his disciples. Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons. Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek ye? They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus saith unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them. As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground. Then asked he them again, Whom seek ye? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth

Taylor Swift And The Tower That Never Was #TaylorDateTony

* Jesus pray for me
Dedicated to #TaylorDateTony

+--------Taylor Swift And The Tower That Never Was

Taylor, the girls in my life are a united band of
haughty peoples who presume to own earth,
of one tribe and one tongue, with intentions
to erect a grandiose monument to memorialize
my singleness. They use dating rejections as
dense jagged brick burned thoroughly. Fake
scaffolding smiles, dubious compassion
like slime used for morter! And extended
loneliness is truly a city and tower that would
pierce Heaven’s veil with violence, prying too
deeply into love's secrets it cant understand.
Oh babes, wont you come down from Beauty’s
throne on high for me, your blue eyes
transfixing like cherubim playing harps
on clouds? Confound their plans with two
cups of coffee in hand. The sound of our kiss
at a cafe would be God's imperative
in baritone scattering their sick desire
as babbling speech all over the world,
forever cursing the damned tower.  .

----- Genesis 11:1-9
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech. So the Lord scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

A Life Redeemed #IamSamson

* Jesus pray for me

+--------"A Life Redeemed; Samson's Thoughts While Holding The Pillars In The Temple Of Dagon"

Ive had plenty of time to think about
it, encased in regret’s stench: the fetid
accumulation of sweat, tears,
and fecal matter over time of men
long since mutilated, or starved to death
deeply seeped in my oxidized cage of
iron bars (and the fetters). I was a fool with
lustrous hair, lusty for women, vigorous
enough to slay, jawbone of an ass fisted,
a thousand men but too weak to master
my own pride.  My wife was but my soul's
projection – shrewd and without scruples,
so I cant lay blame.  So I know now
that life’s scope is broader, the Hebrew
legacy more expansive than the id, ego,
and super-ego of a crazed Nazarene.
Ultimately if one could just lean
on pillars of his own insecurities, that temple
of Dagon within, to crush all the crass
inner-Philistine lies and inequities he can
- blood of his own selfishness like blood of
screaming pagans pooling in the sunken
hollows of his gouged out eyes, it is enough.

----- Judges 16:26-30
And Samson said unto the lad that held him by the hand, Suffer me that I may feel the pillars whereupon the house standeth, that I may lean upon them. Now the house was full of men and women; and all the lords of the Philistines were there; and there were upon the roof about three thousand men and women, that beheld while Samson made sport. And Samson called unto the Lord, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray thee, and strengthen me, I pray thee, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes. And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left. And Samson said, Let me die with the Philistines. And he bowed himself with all his might; and the house fell upon the lords, and upon all the people that were therein. So the dead which he slew at his death were more than they which he slew in his life.

Paranoia About The Death Angel #IamMoses

+--------Paranoia About The Death Angel; Moses's Thoughts While Holding His Wife
On The Night Of The Passover

I tell my wife to clasp my hand,
Abel in Eden holding the hand of his
brother in disbelief bleeding,
and to close her eyes lest she
see death. I hear it in the blaring
winds, cold and fiendish,
beating against our panes and
howling… on this night the soul
of the world has turned pure evil. And
I swear I just saw the front door
ajar, though I know for sure I
fastened it. (Two red pupils behind
a black hood suspended ten feet in
the air cast me a long protracted stare
then vanish). I feel her quivering
when the Egyptian midwives start
wailing, apoplectically. I try to comfort
(us both) with whispers: “Trust the
blood on the doorposts, God told us
to trust the blood.”

---------------Exodus 12:21-33
Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For the Lord will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the Lord will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. And it shall come to pass, when ye be come to the land which the Lord will give you, according as he hath promised, that ye shall keep this service. And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean ye by this service? That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the Lord's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped. And the children of Israel went away, and did as the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they. And it came to pass, that at midnight the Lord smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle. And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead. And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both ye and the children of Israel; and go, serve the Lord, as ye have said. Also take your flocks and your herds, as ye have said, and be gone; and bless me also. And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

Steph Curry's Three Point Shot Of Jehoshaphat's Praise #TonyandSteph

+--------"Steph Curry's Three Point Shot Of Jehoshaphat's Praise"

Steph be not dismayed by the Memphis Grizzlies,
great men of Ammon and Moab tattooed
garishly, and pierced, who wield jumpshots
as jagged spears with corrugated tips, defensive
rebounding tenacity as iron shields thrust
forcefully into your chest beneath the rim. But let
your 3 point shot be hallowed praise sung before
basketball gods, your teammates Levites, children
of the Kohathites who, throwing assists, lie their
hearts prostrate on the ground, eyes closed
clinging to faith in the battle won. The tips of
your fingers are King, a holy leader of the ball’s
arc ascending and descending through the hoop
by you, like choirs' voices that rise and fall at your
command. If you play this way you need not
"fight" any battle – the Grizzlies will ravage
themselves, frustrated before the buzzer.
Your 71st win will be pilfering generous spoils
from a dejected team, dead bodies clumped
in clusters turned a town of ghosts shivering,
still aghast at the three ball even in the next life.

---------------2 Chronicles 20:14-29
Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the Lord in the midst of the congregation; And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the Lord unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the Lord will be with you. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord. And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with a loud voice on high. And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the Lord, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the Lord; for his mercy endureth for ever. And when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped. And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much. And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Berachah; for there they blessed the Lord: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Berachah, unto this day. Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in the forefront of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the Lord had made them to rejoice over their enemies. And they came to Jerusalem with psalteries and harps and trumpets unto the house of the Lord. And the fear of God was on all the kingdoms of those countries, when they had heard that the Lord fought against the enemies of Israel.

+--------Kendall Jenner You Are My Thunder

Kendall, my love for you is a burnt a
offering on a joyous altar. Whenever I see
you on the catwalk I want to #SLAY
the fatted calf of my heart’s desire,
blood zealous for your smooth
olive skin and raven hair drained from
the body before its smoked, ashes of
my longing spread on the ground
ritualistically, hopes of kissing
your soft lips rising in air as
pious black plumes. But sometimes
my loneliness interrupts, savage
band of Philistine marauders in pursuit-
Oh the scale armor and helmets of bronze!
They twirl sickle swords of despair and ride
in iron chariots of the cruelest heart break.
But babes, let your smile be a tempest,
your hug a squall flanked by dark clouds!
A date with you would be peals of thunder
to them, playing footsie, ear splitting earth-
bass-chaos scattering their intentions away
in fear! My hand in yours on #kuwtk would
be a great slaughter in Mizpah. (Land
of us marrying and never looking back).

---------------1 Samuel 7:10-12
While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the Lord thundered with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the Israelites. The men of Israel rushed out of Mizpah and pursued the Philistines, slaughtering them along the way to a point below Beth Kar. Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far the Lord has helped us

+--------Baptism, Finally; Jesus' Thoughts As He Is Baptized By John In The Jordan River

Now I know fully a childhood interrupted
by dreams of waves rippling, any
notions of nondivinity back then hushed
by entrancing winds of Spirit tracing their tangible
fingers gently across my prepubescent
face at random. I'd always longed to press
footprints deep into the banks of the Jordan one day,
fossilizing the enthusiasm for memory, and now…
the time has come. I wade in. Something’s in
the water, something down deep…like great
expectations of a world fallen hoping to rise again.
After plunging and ascending, hand of the prophet
clenched about my wet scalp, the thunderous voice
from skies that seems all too familiar: “THIS
IS MY BELOVED SON IN WHOM I AM WELL
PLEASED.” It feels like reconnecting with
a Father from a past life, two worlds, as a man,
colliding.

----- Matthew 3:13-17
Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying, I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil all righteousness. Then he suffered him. And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased

Taylor Swift (With Your Kiss) Cast This Demonic Singleness Far From Me!!! #TaylorDateTony

+--------"Taylor Swift (With Your Kiss) Cast This Demonic Singleness Far From Me!!!"
Taylor my heart is a young boy
languishing before your Mending Gaze,
blue eyes like cerulean crystals hewn
from a slab at Mount Zion’s peak, golden
hair like the sun, lambent, that comforts
a remnant in Eden scarred from past trauma.
You see, prolonged loneliness is a psychosis
with fits of frenzy, when rejected by girls
I often plunge my emotions into pools
of mourning waters, or massive raging pits
of self-loathing fire. And no one else can
save, this perverse unbelieving loveless
female generation is just too feeble to satisfy
my romantic needs. Even now my desire
stands before you a father pleading
for a coffee date to heal his son: Oh babes,
just one soft kiss from your lips would
rebuke the demon - you and I at Starbucks
smiling, as if nothing bad ever happened.

-----Matthew 7:14-20
When they came to the crowd, a man approached Jesus and knelt before him. “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.” “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment. Then the disciples came to Jesus in private and asked, “Why couldn’t we drive it out?” He replied, “Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

+--------"A God Who Actually Speaks; Samuel's Thoughts In The Temple Upon Hearing  His Name In Darkness"

What if the spirit of your
innermost desire was a wind…
exuding from your heart
so forcefully it overpowered the
wick, snuffing out flames in your
deep sleep, the pitch black
of night? Would you harken to soulish
mysteries of the deep baritone
of destiny pulling your consciousness
forth from nothingness into being…
an invitation to a divine purpose via
a convocation of enigmatic
languages repeatedly pronouncing
your name correctly, as if your ears
transcended two planes of being-
Heaven and then earth, celestial and
then terrestrial? Would you mistake
it all for a dream…or would you tempt
God with courage and respond….
“Here I am!!! Here I am!!!”?

-----1 Samuel 3:1-10
And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision. And it came to pass at that time, when Eli was laid down in his place, and his eyes began to wax dim, that he could not see; And ere the lamp of God went out in the temple of the Lord, where the ark of God was, and Samuel was laid down to sleep; That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I. And he ran unto Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou calledst me. And he said, I called not; lie down again. And he went and lay down. And the Lord called yet again, Samuel. And Samuel arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And he answered, I called not, my son; lie down again. Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed unto him. And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child. Therefore Eli said unto Samuel, Go, lie down: and it shall be, if he call thee, that thou shalt say, Speak, Lord; for thy servant heareth. So Samuel went and lay down in his place. And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.

+--------In Way Over My Head; The Thoughts Of The Prodigal Son In A Pig Pen

When I first arrived here, life was a
shared opium/silphium dream,
the euphoric sweet smell of
friendships my wealth made like
the smoke of flower petals. Each
night….we huddled around the fire
laughing, howling, because we saw our
own morphed faces reflected back in a
shimmering moon. But then came the
soul piercing wailing of Carthaginian
babies sacrificed to an unknown god,
my mark of Cain’s conscience, innocent
blood accusing me from the ground of
watching yet not intervening. Next, the
famine that depleted the small fortune I
gave to gaunt kin, my erstwhile gang
of bawdy lowlifes refusing to repay.
Now I hunger and have nothing. My life
is but a depraved delusion of grandeur,
corn husks of smirking pigs I cannot eat.
Im sorry Dad, I left too soon, I knew not
what to do. I want to go home now.
I just wish I could start over, back home.

---------------Luke 15:14-20
And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.
And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine. And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him. And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants. And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

----Our World Is Grey Lyrics
I'm sure if you wanted to stop love,
You could just untie your end and let it go.
But, my God, you don't.
Yeah, I think I love you for it.

You're still sending cells to their rightful places,
When forming more likely to escape.
Such a narrow way of life.
What's it look like from your side?
From here I can't see why it's worth
One more coming out cursed?

Say it, say it!
Say what this is all for!
Say it's redemption.

'Cause our world is grey, world is grey.
We're just swaying from side to side.
Our world is grey, world is grey.
We are thieves and saints alike.
But you don't let go, don't let go.
We keep swaying and swaying.
And you don't let go, don't.
Yeah, I think I love you for it.

He's shooting god up in his arm through a needle.
And she's putting cuts on her legs to bleed out the devil.
"Surely you will not die, eat and be like God."
What have we done?

Say it, say it!
Say that this is all for redemption.

'Cause our world is grey, world is grey.
We're just swaying from side to side.
Our world is grey, world is grey.
We are thieves and saints alike.
But you don't let go, don't let go.
We keep swaying from side to side.
We all just sway, we all just sway.
But you don't let go, you don't.
You don't.
