America! Bernie
Sanders is the Moses we need
for a time such as this, wooden
staff of the political serpent
in hand to display cunning,
blessed carpentry of the shrewd to
prove his Good Will towards men.
He will use constitutional expedients
to liberate all peoples from economic
slavery- hands raised, eyes closed,
he’ll part Wall Street’s Red Sea of
biased taxation that unduly burdens
the working class, with manifold plagues
of a Righteous Fed, he’ll repeal Pharaonic
healthcare/social security inequities voted
into law. Hid in a basket of objectivity
since birth, he was providentially cast
down the secret, sacred stream of the
Nile every President has journeyed. So
what does he ask of us? Simply,
to remember the stranger, the fatherless,
the widow (and Levite) within our gates –
to spread the USA's wealth evenly, fairly,
so all may fully live... The dignity of God's Chosen.

And the Levite that is within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee. At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay it up within thy gates: And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
