Anthem Of A Future Leader

* Jesus pray for me
* Joshua pray for me
* Moses pray for me

+-------"Anthem Of A Future Leader; The Thoughts Of Joshua Son of Nun Alone In The Tabernacle."

Why me?
Ive seen things that shouldn’t
be seen, been privy to secret
phenomena of other worlds.
What does it all mean,
the deep baritone bass of God
in a dark cumulus cloud whirling,
bright flames of fire within a vortex
so close to me I can touch them,
the earth riveted by dazzling lightning
and ear splitting peals of thunder
that defy the senses, as if Spirit
has the same type of passions
as men? What does it mean that garbled
pleading of Egyptians in the sea
inspired me more profoundly there,
Summit of Sinai, the Mysterious Desert
Mountain verboten for others to
touch, than they did before our arduous
ascent? The stone law, divine
fingers concealed behind thick haze, the
quick tempered man, Pharoah's orphan
that herds Israel with a lisp? His emotive
eyes epically tell me of things his mouth
refuses to corroborate…That this
is just the beginning: these experiences
are like clay molded, hardened for use.
The Veiled Potter is shaping a vessel
for greatness, to one day lead his people.
Using my hands, not the Rod of Moses.

-----Exodus 24:9-13; 33:9-11
Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink. And the Lord said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. And Moses rose up, and his minister Joshua: and Moses went up into the mount of God; And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses. And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. And the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
