+-----Rey At Love's Tomb

Rey forgive my tears,
Love just died, or so it seems.
I still remember it though, as lucidly
today as in my soul’s heyday: tall, bearded
like a man, deft worker of miraculous joy,
it walked steadily on waters of my
forlornness as dry earth. I believed all the
rumors, too, before I enlisted as a
disciple, hailed by all for a pure birth,
delivered in a stable from an unbiased and
just virgin's womb. It was the hope in
all hearts that sprung eternal, fetal
formation of my fervent Hebrew longing
into full romantic Godhood, enfleshed
to meet expectant prophecies of
a toppled Caesar – that callous Emperor
of the unmarried. I was so elated indeed
to have its tutelage as I clasped hands
with other girls. But Ive been single for
so long now, that eternal 3 day aeon after
Roman crucifixions of female rejection, that
all seems lost, this love interred. Oh baby,
I wish you would just materialize behind
me one day to comfort, proof of an empty
dysphoric  tomb, asking “why are
you crying?” I wouldn’t recognize it at first,
the godly sweet charm of a girl, angelic
hazel eyes, brunette hair, after so long
an absence, but I would turn around and
take you out to coffee. You would be my
Jedi Rabboni, The Chosen One to bring
amorous salvation. If you kissed me, I'd
know for sure Love had come back to life -
Son of The Trinitarian Force (of us
together)- my Father and your Father,
my God and your God.

 -----John 20:11-17
Now Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus’ body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot. They asked her, “Woman, why are you crying?” “They have taken my Lord away,” she said, “and I don’t know where they have put him.” At this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not realize that it was Jesus. He asked her, “Woman, why are you crying? Who is it you are looking for?” Thinking he was the gardener, she said, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will get him.” Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned toward him and cried out in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means “Teacher”). Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
