+------The King Of Salem; Abram's Thoughts Upon Meeting Melchizedek

Sometimes you meet people
that remind you time isn’t linear,
purely. That the sword, curved, blood-
smudged, in your tightly clenched
hands, your heart palpitating wildly, the
limp body of a king slain staring
at the sky, supine at your feet,
mucus stuck in your beard still,
isn’t real. That warmongering to
save’s just an archetype of things coming
- bread, wine, blessings as token
gestures from above, (a King Mystic,
Ancient, riding on a horse smiling, fiery
eyes like Destiny calling from a city of
your future children), leading us to a life
eternally without strife, hate….divisions
of classes of peoples. And you realize
all you are and own, is just one tenth
of everything you were meant to be.

------Genesis 14:17-20
After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).
Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram, saying,
“Blessed be Abram by God Most High,
    Creator of heaven and earth.
And praise be to God Most High,
who delivered your enemies into your hand.”
Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.
