TO THE BEST CATHOLIC YOUNG ADULT GROUP IN THE WORLD!!! #WOOOOO

+-----------The Charter of The (Acts) Early Church; The Anthem of #CLYA at Vinny’s 4th of July Party 2015.

We have almost forgotten the
Mourning Morning, that first sunrise
without our Savior next to us,
at breakfast barely eating
our baked bread, the paltry portion
(poorly seasoned due to lethargy) of fish
for lunch, dust under our sandals as
that somber almost sacral evening’s meal,
pressing our praying faces to the ground
sobbing sorely, duly
aggrieved and not knowing what to do next.
For now, we can feel His very
breath upon us, His presence rushing mightily
through our souls and blowing our hearts
out of sorrow like a violent wind
disbursing fire, singeing lips,
onto the tips of our tongues,
enabling us, finally, to laugh and smile.
To say we will be okay, we can
and will make it.
Because when we see each other now
we see Him,
hearts ablaze with love,
so among us no good is withheld,
no possession is exclusively claimed
or hoarded because He never
cached any blessing away or denied us His gifts.
As we carry His cross in our hearts, our secret
daily tribute of honor- attesting His death
wasn’t in vain, our dreams drift Heavenward,
collectively musing in full agreement
that Jesus was right:
it was entirely to our benefit that
He depart into clouds,
flanked by radiant angels rejoicing.
The Spirit, in His absence, has stitched us together;
a kaleidoscopic tapestry depicting such
beauty and charm that the world
cant take its eyes off of it.

----Acts 2:41-47
Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common; And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need  And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
