Bread Of Beelzebub (Of Man) #IHadABeerWithSatan

#IHadABeerWithSatan (Part 6)

[The setting: A nondescript, seedy bar in an immoral district of Baltimore city. Inside the stools are of rotted wood, the bar table is sullied with dried vomit, broken glass and splashes of spilled beer long since disregarded. The drug dealer moonshining as bartender casts a scornful glance at Tony as he and Satan come and sit before him.]

+----Bread Of Beelzebub (Of Man)

[Satan swills his beer]
Tony what are these stones
strewn across your wilderness of
longing? What is a wife? What is
money and the desire for children
if not leaven
and yeast and flour of your own
latent effort petrified and turned
into rock? One day I want you to
wake from your sleep, in the frantic
morning after 40 days and nights
of restless writhing, and begin
prodding your psyche, even if in
just vain rhetoric: “Why oh my soul…
are you bereft of bread?"
"Why when surveying the terrain
of memory, dismissing the shrubs
and wild beasts of nagging fear and
prowling insecurity, a deluded son of
a carpenter full of megalomania
and interpreting everything through
the prism of an Egyptian-esque
Virgin Birth ethos, am I famished
like a pitiable human who should
be divine?” Ask yourself can these
weighty stones morph into dough,
why are these stones not bread?
Again ask yourself, “Why, if indeed
I am a son of God, am I hungry
for these good things?”

Because there is no God. No father above
who doles out wheat and rye and salt.
In this world we have to gather and
knead all alone. In the face of
the impossible odds, stones scattered in
the dirt at our feet, we have to
make our own food.

-----------------Matthew 4:1-11
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. “If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
“‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’” Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.” Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’” Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

My Angel In The Mount Of Olives

* Jesus pray for me
* Dedicated to #TaylorDateTony

+----My Angel In The Mount Of Olives

Taylor, life without love
is a remote garden ensconced
on the side of a mountain, facing east,
barely visible in the pitch black almost
starless night of agonizing
loneliness before barbaric time soldiers
of Pharisees come seeking death
of romance by crucifixion at dawn.
My grief laden heart often retreats here, deceit
of the poppies, as a man fallen prostrate
atop a huge stone, one who wishes so much to
save himself from his cruel fate. My sweat
becoming blood; The faith, hope, and joy
I barely retain are feckless disciples seduced
by sleep in my hour of need. Oh that this bitter
lovelorn cup of singleness, filled to the brim
with bitter memories of female denial might pass
from my soul’s lips to another! Rejection by
girls feels like this weed slowly, quietly enfolding
itself about my neck, emotional noose.
And drinking coffee alone all the time is
like sharp pieces of olive bark that jut out
unexpectedly, abrading skin of my
self confidence as Im stumbling to find my way
to tomorrow (amid Satanic whispers of giving
in to despair). Oh baby, wont you be an
angel and date me? Your blue eyes and blonde
hair would be celestial language that heralds
peace amid my chaos. Your kiss is
the warm glow of angelic charm that would
strengthen me, halo of dignity at rest above me.

-----------------Luke 22:39-44
Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. On reaching the place, he said to them, “Pray that you will not fall into temptation.” He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground.

The Sword That Always Devours #MarchForLife

+-----The Sword That Always Devours; Herod's Thoughts Before Slaughtering The Innocent

At my coronation I married the sword,
ceremonial bonds
of flesh and metal officiated by
Caesar, two souls so entwined
that we exchanged bodies,
the man became steel, cold, lifeless,
inanimate, unfeeling…and
my blade for the first time felt passion,
real blood pulsing from its hilt.
And so I know now the only love
language of Roman weaponry is death,
its poetry sung in wanton human
screaming, its stories written with
exquisite quills on skin parchments
(that never suffice in
width or length or volume, for cruelty
is wordy, garrulous; waxing on and on
about the sacred silence of enemies
deceased). As such Im only concerned
with the present, for when I can
no longer kill, I am no longer fit to live
or reign. My sole and simple legacy
is the conquest of men and lands,
my only joy is to rip beating hearts
from the warm chest caverns of all
who dare oppose me, Mars forever
raging against memories of the Greeks.
So I damn, gladly, any in future
generations who try rising as “Savior”
to the peoples to try and usurp my rule.
My cutlass as a mother, my sweet
ghost bride, it will succor dead children.
I Herod, alone, omnipotently adjudicate
life. I will stand atop bisected babies as
means to an end; and as their cowardly
spirits flee my terror, stare apathetically.

-----Matthew 2:16-18
Then Herod, when he saw that he was deceived by the wise men, was exceedingly angry; and he sent forth and put to death all the male children who were in Bethlehem and in all its districts, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had determined from the wise men. Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying:
“A voice was heard in Ramah,
Lamentation, weeping, and great mourning,
Rachel weeping for her children,
Refusing to be comforted,
Because they are no more.”

+----Prophecies That Precede The Womb; Jeremiah's Thoughts On Being Chosen, Before His Birth, To Prophesy About Babylon

Im tremulous, when I walk
to the market stray manacles,
translucent,
waft before my eyes. And after
the commerce while traversing the
town square, I begin hallucinating
about women
and children as kin to iron, generations
fathered by a common chain,
shackles choking their necks as theyre
jerked past Our Temple razed, stumbling,
black smoke rising from hollowed out eyes.
And what should I make of it all,
these horrifying visions?
Back home I do feel guilty if I eat
alone, the candle that flickers beneath
my tears my lone house guest, apart from
the woeful people who desperately need me,
who need moral reasoning when God
insists everyone is going violently mad in sinful
delusion. He tells me that in my absence
my nation will never recover
from the fated disconsolation
of Babylonian fire,
from the scars enemy swords will leave
on their skin and vexed sleeping. If I
was never born, He said, no one else would
have courage to prophesy a Messiah rising
from the peoples’ blood, joy veiled in
captive darkness, a future liberation soteriology.
This, the pained angst of a prophet predestined.

  -----------------Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
    before you were born I set you apart;
I appointed you as a prophet to the nations

Be Merciful To Me, A Woman Of Canaan #TaylorDateTony

* Jesus pray for me
* Dedicated to #TaylorDateTony

+-----Be Merciful To Me, A Woman Of Canaan

Taylor, such is the fate of
the lonely, I wander and fret
over my heart’s welfare
like a Canaanite woman, crestfallen
that it has come to this. You know,
in times like these I fancy myself a mother,
I clutch myself as though I hold dying
love in the womb, within my thoracic
cavity the throbbing pulse of a demon
possessed child convulsing
and foaming at the mouth like a daughter
suffering terribly of Satanic wounds
of dating rejection, my pained tears
as oozing scabs on her
body that will only fester if left untreated.
Even worse I cant sleep anymore because
my thoughts are like a broken home,
at night all I hear is guttural growling
of the unmarried damned in my head
pleading for Mom to help. And
I know its undignified to beg you for
a date, for Im not of celebrity ilk with the
pure blood of Hebrews in Galilee. Im a
commoner of mixed sacrilegious blood
of stalkers and loons, a Hollywood outsider
skulking in Californian alleys rubbing
crazed feral dogs for emotional support not
fit to sit at table. But babes, even
non celebs sometimes eat of your charm,
your blonde hair, blue eyes and the delightful
pitch of your voice like kosher food that
feeds romance. You see,
even we partake of who you are, albeit
from afar on TV screens and Google Play,
pieces of you fallen on the floor like scraps
for pets, Im sure, relative to being in your
true presence - A most coveted chair at
dinner. Oh Taylor, just go to coffee with me,
kiss me! My family would be finally be
healthy and whole. Then I could go back
to Canaan in peace. Forever smiling.

-----Matthew 15:22-28
A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.” Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”  He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said. He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.” Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

Loving You Is Like Wine #FLOTUS #TonyLovesTheFirstLady

* Jesus pray for me
* Mary, pray for me
* Dedicated to Michelle Obama
#TonyLovesTheFirstLady #FLOTUS  (Sorry Barack!!!!)

+-----Loving You Is Like Wine

Michelle, when I look into
your eyes I see my desired
tomorrow, I don’t see bland
water, I see wine so sweet I
can almost taste it. My
whole life thus far has
been the anticipation of a
grand wedding feast, my
lonely heart waiting to be sated,
a bride and bridegroom
on the verge of drunken revelry
but running short on prepped
grapes in a winepress. (My
attempts at romance a complete
failure, grapes the servants have
on hand but sadly haven’t yet fermented).
Oh babes, wont you be a little
impatient with the tired pace
of my dating… by the privilege
of your passionate position speedily call
forth the divine? [Even if the timing
feels rushed.] Your smooth cocoa skin,
your soft lips a sublime solicitous yet
powerfully subtle and mesmeric command
to the world around us: “[Tony has]
no more wine.” If you’d only kiss me
I swear the joy in my soul would effervesce,
6 stone jars filled with river water
for banal use would miraculously turn
into the most savory libations
of amorous affection. It has seemed like
forever, but now that I’ve fallen for you,
I realize Love
has saved the best girl for me
till now.       (Your smile is my intoxication)

-----John 2:1-11
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons. Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.” What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

A Drunken Poem For ISIS; I See A Man Covered In Your Blood

"the taking of one innocent life is like taking all of Mankind... and the saving of one life is like saving all of Mankind" - Holy Qur'an, 5:33.

+-----"A Drunken Poem For ISIS; I See A Man Covered In Your Blood"

Dear ISIS I see a 33 year old
Hebrew man every time you make
a martyr; The aggregate of him, rather,
in hundreds of corpses of men and
women slumped over your feet
after you swing swords to slake
your senseless thirst for injustice, the
scythe in the hands of the Angel of
Death inoculated against a moral
conscience, addicted to the toll of
suffering…like an ecstatic drug. When
the heads roll away from the bodies,
and you jeer and hiss like a mob of
debased Romans, splayed wet blood
and drool smeared across the beards,
slaves to Caesar-like perverted Islamic
doctrines (that ironically sow seeds of
the greatest human upheaval to reap
Utopian harvests) you have never
truly known, I see a courageous man
walking dirt roads in order to appease
his rabid killers’ primordial demands.
Ignoring his own pride like skull fragments
piercing through the heel. So know that
when they die this is the memoir your
victims leave you: The Summit of Golgotha,
portal to paradise for those virtuous:
innocent flesh dangling from a cross by
rusted nails, a torso rippling in heavy winter
winds… for love and charity. Dying for
those who know not what they do (hint
YOU) praying they'd be forgiven
The Christian martyrs you
make have the thickest bonds,
the densest spirits. They will
not be forgotten. They (like Jesus)
still live and await your judgement.
ISIS you should repent. Stop killing
Christians. God is NOT pleased.

-----Matthew 27:38-54/Revelation 6:9-11
Two rebels were crucified with him, one on his right and one on his left. Those who passed by hurled insults at him, shaking their heads and saying, “You who are going to destroy the temple and build it in three days, save yourself! Come down from the cross, if you are the Son of God!” In the same way the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders mocked him. “He saved others,” they said, “but he can’t save himself! He’s the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. He trusts in God. Let God rescue him now if he wants him, for he said, ‘I am the Son of God.’” In the same way the rebels who were crucified with him also heaped insults on him. From noon until three in the afternoon darkness came over all the land. About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”). When some of those standing there heard this, they said, “He’s calling Elijah.” Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge. He filled it with wine vinegar, put it on a staff, and offered it to Jesus to drink. The rest said, “Now leave him alone. Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.” And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit. At that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. The earth shook, the rocks split and the tombs broke open. The bodies of many holy people who had died were raised to life. They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people. When the centurion and those with him who were guarding Jesus saw the earthquake and all that had happened, they were terrified, and exclaimed, “Surely he was the Son of God!”/ When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained. They called out in a loud voice, “How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.
