+------The Final Banquet Of Dak 'Haman' Prescott's Season; Kirk Cousins's Redemption

And Kirk, dreams of your
people, Redskins fans:
Hebrews pining away, resentful
of abuses that linger in Persia
(Dallas, Texas)…are no longer
quixotic but necessary. Dak Prescott,
Haman the Amalekite, nefandous
Cowboys villain of Hebrews
by NFL blood: has negotiated with King
Xerxes, Roger Goodell, elimination of
your playoff eligibility (genocide of fan-hopes)
with tonight’s loss. So heed Mordecai’s,
Jay Gruden’s, counsel as of a cousin
held dear. Take courage, the very life
of the postseason in your hands: your
QB acumen, audibles, TD passes to
Vernon Davis like the most insolent bravery.
A win and you save us all (Redskins Nation).
A win: the King’s favor, Haman hanged instead.

------Ester 4:6-17
So Hathak went out to Mordecai in the open square of the city in front of the king’s gate. Mordecai told him everything that had happened to him, including the exact amount of money Haman had promised to pay into the royal treasury for the destruction of the Jews. He also gave him a copy of the text of the edict for their annihilation, which had been published in Susa, to show to Esther and explain it to her, and he told him to instruct her to go into the king’s presence to beg for mercy and plead with him for her people. Hathak went back and reported to Esther what Mordecai had said. Then she instructed him to say to Mordecai, “All the king’s officials and the people of the royal provinces know that for any man or woman who approaches the king in the inner court without being summoned the king has but one law: that they be put to death unless the king extends the gold scepter to them and spares their lives. But thirty days have passed since I was called to go to the king.” When Esther’s words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer: “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.” So Mordecai went away and carried out all of Esther’s instructions.

Taylor, singleness is
my heart’s lingering inability
to be peripatetic fully- a
Hebrew woman, slave of Rome,
ritually unclean/diseased; My rejection
from girls, a continuous stream
of her blood pooling in alleyways, stains
on Galilean back streets lonely. At
night, wailing at the moon the
way wolves howl when hungered
weeks. But babes! Your entrancing
smile a cloak (you don always, Savior
of my love life. Your cerulean eyes,
soft lips like an angel like one Virgin-
Born…and you’re tall). A date with
you at Starbucks, a kiss over coffee
…my romantic soul reaching out
to touch its edge.
I’d get up and run freely. Loved.

------Matthew 9:20-22
Just then a woman who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak. She said to herself, “If I only touch his cloak, I will be healed.” Jesus turned and saw her. “Take heart, daughter,” he said, “your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed at that moment.

When I saw his face,
I felt the barge of
emotion of the Greeks
as mythoi boast
of Dionysus…a god pulsing (once)
with blood of mortals. A man, like them,
but with kinship, inspiring, of Mount
Olympus…yet for us Hebrews sans
the debauchery. In his eyes, pure,
I saw a reflected shadow (crowned)
from another world of a Caesar more
pure, David’s resurrection in our
time….sprung from the Womb of
a Virgin Mother. Yes, today I saw,
finally, proof of salvation, this
corrupt Roman empire toppled.

------Luke 2:36-38
There was also a prophet, Anna, the daughter of Penuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.

And everything I fancied,
boasted of to you (by good works)
is true...
golden harps strum by cherubim
on silk strings, everywhere fragrant
smoke of incense in jeweled censers…
the broad, joyous, wizened smiling
of Father Abraham….amidst
laughter of prophets once
slaughtered…sheep who reclaimed
their lives, finally, from ungodly
wolves of worldly bloodlust. All true. But
until return I must retire my spindle;
The Son shines so brightly there,
always – my coats would be mockery.

------Acts 9:36-43
In Joppa there was a woman named Tabitha, who was a believer. (Her name in Greek is Dorcas, meaning “a deer.”) She spent all her time doing good and helping the poor. At that time she got sick and died. Her body was washed and laid in a room upstairs. Joppa was not very far from Lydda, and when the believers in Joppa heard that Peter was in Lydda, they sent two men to him with the message, “Please hurry and come to us.” So Peter got ready and went with them. When he arrived, he was taken to the room upstairs, where all the widows crowded around him, crying and showing him all the shirts and coats that Dorcas had made while she was alive. Peter put them all out of the room, and knelt down and prayed; then he turned to the body and said, “Tabitha, get up!” She opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up. Peter reached over and helped her get up. Then he called all the believers, including the widows, and presented her alive to them. The news about this spread all over Joppa, and many people believed in the Lord. Peter stayed on in Joppa for many days with a tanner of leather named Simon.

Cain dismisses it
as apocryphal: I confide
in him that angels confer
with me beneath the moon,
stars; Secrets amongst wolves
in the den. They say what we see,
hear, taste, touch isn’t real
but reality fleeting. What we give to
God now in time/space, will tender
us rewards eternal (Eden). I beg him,
then, “please live each day as
if all we know imminently dissipates.”
We must sacrifice our best, our all.

------Genesis 4:1-8; Hebrews 11:4
Adam made love to his wife Eve, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Cain. She said, “With the help of the Lord I have brought forth a man.” Later she gave birth to his brother Abel. Now Abel kept flocks, and Cain worked the soil. In the course of time Cain brought some of the fruits of the soil as an offering to the Lord. And Abel also brought an offering—fat portions from some of the firstborn of his flock. The Lord looked with favor on Abel and his offering, but on Cain and his offering he did not look with favor. So Cain was very angry, and his face was downcast. Then the Lord said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” Now Cain said to his brother Abel, “Let’s go out to the field.” While they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.; By faith Abel brought God a better offering than Cain did. By faith he was commended as righteous, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith Abel still speaks, even though he is dead.

------1 Samuel 17:4-7; 26-37
A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span. He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels; on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels. His shield bearer went ahead of him.; David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?” They repeated to him what they had been saying and told him, “This is what will be done for the man who kills him.” When Eliab, David’s oldest brother, heard him speaking with the men, he burned with anger at him and asked, “Why have you come down here? And with whom did you leave those few sheep in the wilderness? I know how conceited you are and how wicked your heart is; you came down only to watch the battle.” “Now what have I done?” said David. “Can’t I even speak?” He then turned away to someone else and brought up the same matter, and the men answered him as before. What David said was overheard and reported to Saul, and Saul sent for him. David said to Saul, “Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.” Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.” But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.”

Taylor a date with you’d be,
initially, pure incredulity; My love-

as to a tree on Golgotha between two
savages, its body spectacularly
mauled (by whips, Roman-spears of
impatient despairing). And…the steam

emptied tomb. Your smile, a
miraculous entry into my locked,
shuttered room of romance-doubting.
A kiss from your soft lips (Virgin-born,
your two blue eyes two gemstones
snatched from angels in heaven at birth)
like proof, like my heart’s hands placed
on wounds of nails in hands, scars
of slits of spear-tips in ribs. Your
charmed gaze: my ironclad belief in
resurrection of dead dreams.

------John 20:24-29
Now Thomas (also known as Didymus), one of the Twelve, was not with the disciples when Jesus came. So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.” A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you!” Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!” Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”

I know now what Hamilcar
felt in Carthage ransacked, a Patriarchal
Eagle (of war, of wings lacerated) staring
at his son-to-be-hatched, impatient
to bequeath spitefulness. I gaze
at Mary’s stomach as she sleeps;
I see David mounted on a horse hunting
Philistines, I see Hannibal Barca, the
blood-shot eyes unsheathing the blade
he inherited for pernicious purpose. When
I come to, the standing wall-silhouette
of my son-to-be, cast by the waning
flames of our candle flickering. I muse
astonished: Jesus, the one prophesized
to free us from Caesar’s tyranny…
is (in nine months) coming.

------Matthew 1:19-24
Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded to put her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.  Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

I’ve thought about this
for some time, the gemstones
aligning, alighting banks of the River
of Life, the Tree of Life’s famed
leaves and branches as sacred
alcoves of cherubim and seraphim;
Waiting, speaking in tongues only
I know. And now there is no dithering,
no mollification of the rage
within my heart festering for
Satan’s great deceit, the tears
of my father for the paradise
he lost (through insolence). I must
go…the call is too loud,
persistent to ignore…back to Eden.

------Genesis 5:18-24
When Jared had lived 162 years, he became the father of Enoch. After he became the father of Enoch, Jared lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. Altogether, Jared lived a total of 962 years, and then he died. When Enoch had lived 65 years, he became the father of Methuselah. After he became the father of Methuselah, Enoch walked faithfully with God 300 years and had other sons and daughters.  Altogether, Enoch lived a total of 365 years. Enoch walked faithfully with God; then he was no more, because God took him away.

+------Kirk Cousins's NFC Cure (In New Orleans)

Kirk, and now, the Redskins’ season
is Naaman, commander of
the army of the King of Aram
(the NFC) – valiant soldier. Five losses
like scabs, pained boils on his body,
another to the Saints’d be craters on skin
of playoff hopes unsightly. A blemish
too much to bear in war’s NFL theatre.
But you, Israel’s (Fed Ex Field’s) prophet
miraculous. Your QB repertoire, passes
precise, great compassion. TDs
in New Orleans to Doctson, Davis,
Thompson magnanimous, like counsel
of a sage for his cure: seven times’
baptism in the River Jordan. The defeat of
Drew Brees like restoration of Superbowl
aspirations- clean skin as soft as a child’s.
Redskins Nation’s gratitude: Naaman
bowing in the Temple of Rimmon with you.

------2 Kings 5:1-19
Now Naaman was commander of the army of the king of Aram. He was a great man in the sight of his master and highly regarded, because through him the Lord had given victory to Aram. He was a valiant soldier, but he had leprosy. Now bands of raiders from Aram had gone out and had taken captive a young girl from Israel, and she served Naaman’s wife. She said to her mistress, “If only my master would see the prophet who is in Samaria! He would cure him of his leprosy.” Naaman went to his master and told him what the girl from Israel had said. “By all means, go,” the king of Aram replied. “I will send a letter to the king of Israel.” So Naaman left, taking with him ten talents of silver, six thousand shekels of gold and ten sets of clothing. The letter that he took to the king of Israel read: “With this letter I am sending my servant Naaman to you so that you may cure him of his leprosy.” As soon as the king of Israel read the letter, he tore his robes and said, “Am I God? Can I kill and bring back to life? Why does this fellow send someone to me to be cured of his leprosy? See how he is trying to pick a quarrel with me!” When Elisha the man of God heard that the king of Israel had torn his robes, he sent him this message: “Why have you torn your robes? Have the man come to me and he will know that there is a prophet in Israel.” So Naaman went with his horses and chariots and stopped at the door of Elisha’s house. Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, “Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.” But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy. Are not Abana and Pharpar, the rivers of Damascus, better than all the waters of Israel? Couldn’t I wash in them and be cleansed?” So he turned and went off in a rage. Naaman’s servants went to him and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, ‘Wash and be cleansed’!” So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy. Then Naaman and all his attendants went back to the man of God. He stood before him and said, “Now I know that there is no God in all the world except in Israel. So please accept a gift from your servant.” The prophet answered, “As surely as the Lord lives, whom I serve, I will not accept a thing.” And even though Naaman urged him, he refused. “If you will not,” said Naaman, “please let me, your servant, be given as much earth as a pair of mules can carry, for your servant will never again make burnt offerings and sacrifices to any other god but the Lord. 18 But may the Lord forgive your servant for this one thing: When my master enters the temple of Rimmon to bow down and he is leaning on my arm and I have to bow there also—when I bow down in the temple of Rimmon, may the Lord forgive your servant for this.” “Go in peace,” Elisha said.

We rail against Caesar. It’s perfect,
like the last dinner we’ll ever need.

------Luke 22:7-16; John 13:23
Then came the day of Unleavened Bread on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed. Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”
“Where do you want us to prepare for it?” they asked. He replied, “As you enter the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him to the house that he enters, and say to the owner of the house, ‘The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?’ He will show you a large room upstairs, all furnished. Make preparations there.” They left and found things just as Jesus had told them. So they prepared the Passover. When the hour came, Jesus and his apostles reclined at the table. And he said to them, “I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the kingdom of God.”; There was reclining one of His disciples whom Jesus loved in the bosom of Jesus.

+------The Fires And Waters Of Tony Conti's Singleness; Taylor Swift's Miracle-Rebuke

Taylor, my singleness is a
Hebrew father in Caesarea Philippi
dysphoric pleading on his knees, my
heart from dating rejection his lunatic
son sore vexed. And I swear my
loneliness feels like emotional
schemes of a devil- like falling into fire,
the skin of my soul singed, into water,
my yearning for romance drowning
helplessly. Years of being bae-less,
wails of anguish, a spectacle
before crowds surrounding me.
But babes! You are a Coffee-
Savior, the tone of your singing-
voice angels feting one
born of a Virgin. Your blue eyes
Heaven’s gift to men, your lips
Miraculous comfort. If you took me
to Starbucks, kissed me,
a stern rebuke to my dateless life.
The demons would leave me
that very hour.

------Matthew 17:14-21
And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying, Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water. And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him. Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me. And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour. Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?  And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

+------Love's Sacrifices...(Prayers Of A Fox Whisperer); Samson's Words To 300 Foxes After Losing His Wife To The Philistines

Foxes, proselytes in 150 fated
pairs, tails knit together (as lovers,
I hope) torch-lit. Into their ears
I whisper “we have known love universal,”
“its abode within the soul, a
lasting blaze”. I ask them to rise….
as metaphors, mourning conflagration
-ambassadors for those not
yet born who’ll one day cherish
romance too. “On fox-altars for fox
gods please take offerings of grain,
wine, olives”…The black smoke,
the blood, the charred wheat, the
crazed fur of immolation, grapes seething
of wrath: “Send the Philistines a
stark message- this is the stench,
of your greatest loss, of a (Hebrew
man’s) heart broken.”

------Judges 15:1-8
Later on, at the time of wheat harvest, Samson took a young goat and went to visit his wife. He said, “I’m going to my wife’s room.” But her father would not let him go in. “I was so sure you hated her,” he said, “that I gave her to your companion. Isn’t her younger sister more attractive? Take her instead.” Samson said to them, “This time I have a right to get even with the Philistines; I will really harm them.” So he went out and caught three hundred foxes and tied them tail to tail in pairs. He then fastened a torch to every pair of tails, lit the torches and let the foxes loose in the standing grain of the Philistines. He burned up the shocks and standing grain, together with the vineyards and olive groves. When the Philistines asked, “Who did this?” they were told, “Samson, the Timnite’s son-in-law, because his wife was given to his companion.” So the Philistines went up and burned her and her father to death.  Samson said to them, “Since you’ve acted like this, I swear that I won’t stop until I get my revenge on you.” He attacked them viciously and slaughtered many of them. Then he went down and stayed in a cave in the rock of Etam.

Brothers, when I hear wolves howling
before we slumber, only a stone’s
throw from these tents, I haven’t any
fear… ‘tis an invitation
to abscond from prescibed ranks of humans.
In my dreams, their macabre
show of fangs like prophecy,
and growling, desire. So when we bind
sheaves of grain in fields I process
prey/predator. In all things the fur on
my neck stands erect, I visualize that
stark dichotomization; Noah sneering at all
all scoffers before the flood. And…I
don’t know what it all means, but in dreams
your sheaves always bow before
mine standing upright. You…the whole world
even…bows before me. The terror
of being hunted (by my destiny, greater).

------Genesis 37:3-7
Now Israel loved Joseph more than any of his other sons, because he had been born to him in his old age; and he made an ornate robe for him. When his brothers saw that their father loved him more than any of them, they hated him and could not speak a kind word to him. Joseph had a dream, and when he told it to his brothers, they hated him all the more. He said to them, “Listen to this dream I had: We were binding sheaves of grain out in the field when suddenly my sheaf rose and stood upright, while your sheaves gathered around mine and bowed down to it.”

Coffee with you at Starbucks’d be

The crowd of girls who dissed
me’d say “Nothing like this has ever
been seen in Israel.” The haters’d
murmur “It is by the prince of
demons that [she] drives out demons.”
But I’d speak “#taylordatetony” ….for
the first time. Happily.

------Matthew 9:32-34
While they were going out, a man who was demon-possessed and could not talk was brought to Jesus. And when the demon was driven out, the man who had been mute spoke. The crowd was amazed and said, “Nothing like this has ever been seen in Israel.” But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.”

The World New

+------The World New; Noah's Thoughts After God Directed Him To Build The Ark

I’ve felt it sometime now,
this malaise of heart of one
destined for something momentous.
In my curious periphery, the leering
of some beasts, eyes preying, teeth
exposed like Death does when he
raises his scythe, when I turn
away my gaze. My neighbors profane
scoff, Noah the cynic, when I
frame life around distinctions. A world
wherein what’s present is soon
to be distant past. I cradle my wife,
tent flap slightly ajar so we can whisper
to the stars, to what's unknown….
“Give us courage when it rains”

------Genesis 6:5-8
The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time. The Lord regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled. So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.” But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.

+------Baptize Me, The World; Jesus' Words To John  After Requesting Baptism In The Jordan

When I was younger
I remember the grousing
of my Mother – that the occupation
of Caesar made the Hebrew soul
ritually unclean, ashamed: The Trojans
musing, years later, on hearing the
crescendos of Odysseus’ tumult
within the wooden horse; The wheels
splintering. And now I stand
at the world’s edge, toes on the Bank
of the Jordan. Seeking, first to
cleanse my mind of all the doubt,
inferiority I have known, seen. To wash
away, in my flesh, the ageless indignity
of the human. To clean my people
of their sin, to clean the world of the
old order. To make all things new. Pure.

------Matthew 3:13-17
Then Jesus came from Galilee to the Jordan to be baptized by John. But John tried to deter him, saying, “I need to be baptized by you, and do you come to me?” Jesus replied, “Let it be so now; it is proper for us to do this to fulfill all righteousness.” Then John consented. As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased

Kirk Cousins's (Superbowl) Construction In Jerusalem #TonyandKirk #KirkisNehemiah

+------Kirk Cousins's (Superbowl) Construction In Jerusalem

Kirk, the Redskins’ short
season thus far, a city of playoff
aims razed, fortified wall of stone
toppled; 3 NFC East losses,
rocks strewn and scattered over
fossilized ash of January’s Giants
game, Skins’ fans’ grief, bits
of torn clothing of a Hebrew people
raided, looted by Babylon. But in Seattle,
the newfound favor of a king, Artaxerxes
of Persia, granting permission for
construction in Jerusalem. Your QBR,
supervision of gathering supplies,
Chris Thompson’s runs, iron for locks
and bars for gates. Your 4th quarter TD
passes to Terrelle Pryor, axe picks and
saws filing down, stacking rock slabs with
mortar. A win: The Superbowl-Wall rebuilt
around Fed-Ex field in just 52 days. Russell
Wilson, Richard Sherman: Sanballat the
Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official
(L.O.B) seething mad.

------Nehemiah 2:16-20; 6:15-16
The officials did not know where I had gone or what I was doing, because as yet I had said nothing to the Jews or the priests or nobles or officials or any others who would be doing the work. Then I said to them, “You see the trouble we are in: Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates have been burned with fire. Come, let us rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, and we will no longer be in disgrace.” I also told them about the gracious hand of my God on me and what the king had said to me. They replied, “Let us start rebuilding.” So they began this good work. But when Sanballat the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite official and Geshem the Arab heard about it, they mocked and ridiculed us. “What is this you are doing?” they asked. “Are you rebelling against the king?” I answered them by saying, “The God of heaven will give us success. We his servants will start rebuilding, but as for you, you have no share in Jerusalem or any claim or historic right to it. ; So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days. When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.

+------From Boat To Liberation; Peter's Thoughts As He Walked Out To Jesus On The Waters

At the fishing ports, I hear
pagans murmuring of former glories
of Etruscans, Hebrews whispering
of David’s diamond laced scepter.
It’s as if we cant shake phantasms
of brigades of Nebuchadnezzar marching,
torches ablaze, echoes of Levites
wailing, hurled at the inner court
of Solomon’s temple smoke-filled.
Our psyche is slavery (distinctly Roman),
our expectation Caesar’s, not our own.
But deep within I have known our
liberation, visions of a Savior
prophesied born to show us the way.
The way to walk atop the impossible,
feet on water of despair as if dry land, telling
us: now is the time to hold fast to dreams.

------Matthew 14:22-29
Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone, and the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.

John Wall Deposing Four (Cavs) Kings; The NBA Father Of Nations #TonyandWall

+------John Wall Deposing Four (Cavs) Kings; The NBA Father Of Nations

John, the 2018 fate of the Wizards,
Lot and his possessions
dwelling in antiquity’s Sodom,
awaiting future glory (of chosen
people, of NBA champions) draped
in mystery, presently. And Lebron,
Wade, Love, and Rose- four (Cavs)
Kings merciless, Kedorlaomer of Elam,
Tidal of Goyim, Amraphel of Shinar,
Arioch of Ellasar; Marauders
unscrupulous, intent on
snatching Lot. The loss of his life, the
torment of Wizards’ fans. But tonight
your basketball skills like 318 trained
men born in your household on a rescue
mission. Your assists, dunks, defense,
like crazed battalions, attacking, routing
Bron as far as Hobah, north of Damascus
(Cleveland, Ohio).  And you are
Abram, soon to be Abraham, this year's
NBA Champion. Father of Nations.

------Genesis 14:8-17
Then the king of Sodom, the king of Gomorrah, the king of Admah, the king of Zeboyim and the king of Bela (that is, Zoar) marched out and drew up their battle lines in the Valley of Siddim against Kedorlaomer king of Elam, Tidal king of Goyim, Amraphel king of Shinar and Arioch king of Ellasar—four kings against five. Now the Valley of Siddim was full of tar pits, and when the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled, some of the men fell into them and the rest fled to the hills. The four kings seized all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah and all their food; then they went away. They also carried off Abram’s nephew Lot and his possessions, since he was living in Sodom. A man who had escaped came and reported this to Abram the Hebrew. Now Abram was living near the great trees of Mamre the Amorite, a brother of Eshkol and Aner, all of whom were allied with Abram. When Abram heard that his relative had been taken captive, he called out the 318 trained men born in his household and went in pursuit as far as Dan.  During the night Abram divided his men to attack them and he routed them, pursuing them as far as Hobah, north of Damascus. He recovered all the goods and brought back his relative Lot and his possessions, together with the women and the other people. After Abram returned from defeating Kedorlaomer and the kings allied with him, the king of Sodom came out to meet him in the Valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley).

+------The Five Loaves and Two Fish Shared By Taylor Swift and Tony Conti  (At Starbucks)

Taylor, singleness is
my heart a trammeled crowd
in a remote place, my emotions
sundry village folk chasing
chimeras in Galilee, dating politics
of girls cruel like tracking Savior-
prophecy expectations (of romance)
far from the countryside, hungered.
My joy once 5,000 hardy men
with wives, children
peppy, reduced to languishing
in groups of hundreds and fifties
waiting to date, hoping; Sheep wandering,
with no where left to graze. But babes,
your pretty smile, divine, like one
born of  a Virgin. Your angel-blue eyes
five loaves broken and two fish,
your soft lips disciples distributing
passion, desire to the masses. If you
took me to Starbucks, kissed me
…my soul forever fed by Love’s mercy.

------Mark 6:35-44
By this time it was late in the day, so his disciples came to him. “This is a remote place,” they said, “and it’s already very late. Send the people away so that they can go to the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.” But he answered, “You give them something to eat.” They said to him, “That would take more than half a year’s wages! Are we to go and spend that much on bread and give it to them to eat?” “How many loaves do you have?” he asked. “Go and see.” When they found out, they said, “Five—and two fish.” Then Jesus directed them to have all the people sit down in groups on the green grass. So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to distribute to the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.  They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces of bread and fish. The number of the men who had eaten was five thousand.
