+------The Triumphal Entry Of Taylor Swift Into Tony's Conti's Heart

Taylor, my heart is a slave
in Jerusalem 400 years dateless,
dysphoric, smile-bereft, carrying
the weight of romantic Roman-grief,
during sleep angst-ridden, trying
to expel trials and tribulations of tales
of Odysseus from his dreams, the
cruel countless years of female
rejection’s hardship. Holding (eyes shut)
branches of palm like hope, lusting
at self-conjured visions of King
David’s throne emerald adorned, my
happiness enthroned, a #bae on
my right side. But babes, your blonde
hair, blue eyes, soft lips a tall
Galilean man, mystical, myth-like
mounted on a donkey of humble
charm trotting towards me like a
sweet campy serenade. If you took
me to Starbucks, kissed me…
it’d be the Prophet iridescent I’d always
dreamed of – the One to rescue from
loneliness like years of lovers’ abuse,
inequality in Babylon, Persia. Us sipping
green tea my palm laid down, my grin
my soul shouting “Hosanna, Hosanna!!!"

------John 12:12-18
The next day the great crowd that had come for the festival heard that Jesus was on his way to Jerusalem. They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting,
“Hosanna!”
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Blessed is the king of Israel!”
Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written:
“Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion;
    see, your king is coming,
    seated on a donkey’s colt.”
At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him.
Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word. Many people, because they had heard that he had performed this sign, went out to meet him. So the Pharisees said to one another, “See, this is getting us nowhere. Look how the whole world has gone after him!”
