+------Never Looking Back; The Thoughts Of Jesus As He Folded His Burial Cloths

And I don’t need relics anymore,
none of this is recursive. Heaven’s
temple curtain rent asunder by
my blood that mollifies- that stained
predestined perpendicular wood,
hallowed nails forged in a
blacksmith’s oven blessed before
his work began. In 3 days Ive seen
dark scars on the imprisoned souls
of Adam, Noah, Abraham healed.
Things are now as they should be,
God enthused, man romanced,
redeemed – now together forever
forgetful of the past. This tomb, this
world, this Shroud soon to burn,
purging flames like angels in ritual
dance invoking curses on Time.

------John 20:6-10
Then Simon Peter came along behind him and went straight into the tomb. He saw the strips of linen lying there, as well as the cloth that had been wrapped around Jesus’ head. The cloth was still lying in its place, separate from the linen. Finally the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went inside. He saw and believed. (They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.) Then the disciples went back to where they were staying.
