Spasmodic, my flagellated back
amassing splinters in cold
winds, winter’s stoic jaded sympathies
for the dead on crosses,
I had intermittent flashbacks of
when it all began. When I spoke and
darkness and seas fled before truth’s
illumination revealing dry land. Now
you must do likewise. Go tell all nations
Revolution’s sun arises on a New
World waiting. That on the banks of
baptismal waters, Eden is restored.

Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them. And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
