+--------Taylor Swift's Words, Tony Conti's Heart's Withered Hand Made Whole

Oh Taylor my heart's a
Galilean man, his robe’s
right sleeve rolled up only, filled
with dread, fist of dating
expectation trembling, clenched so
tightly at length as to become
dystrophy of emotions. When I
try to hold romance’s hope
with two good hands I cant, girls’
rejections bind fingers, my dreams
slip, shatter as shards strewn, like a
basket full of grains scattered on
the lovelorn ground. Oh but babes
thoughts of you with me at Starbucks,
a synagogue of anticipation. Your
flowing blonde hair like prophecy of
ages fulfilled before my eyes, your blue
eyes celestial edicts. If you kissed me…
over steam of green tea rising – it’d be
word-balm: “stretch out your hand.”
Your whispers “Tony, be mine…” my
withered hand fully fleshed. I’d put
your hair behind your ear…gently.

-----Matthew 12:9-14
Going on from that place, he went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to bring charges against Jesus, they asked him, “Is it lawful to heal on the Sabbath?” He said to them, “If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.” Then he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” So he stretched it out and it was completely restored, just as sound as the other. But the Pharisees went out and plotted how they might kill Jesus.
