+--------My Forgivable Sin; The Response Of The Woman With The Issue Of Blood When Jesus Asked Who Touched Him

And when Im vulnerable, eyes
shut, I uncoil my fingers from my
habitually balled fists (rage
against my Fate, doctors) and
extend my fingertips to the stars,
tears streaming down my cheeks
...whimpering full of emotions…
like a little girl again. Wishing for,
hoping for a different gait: running
not limping, not paranoid about
sanitizing trails of blood behind me.
To sit in synagogue again with
friends…something like a human,
on my face something like smiling.
So forgive me Jesus...I had to take
a risk for a chance... to be free.

------Luke 8:43-48
And a woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.” Then the woman, seeing that she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

The Political Soul #IamJoab

+--------The Political Soul; The Last Words Of  Joab To Benaiah  Before His Murder

And you know the rules of this game
of wolves…(in sheep’s skin)
of bureaucracy politick, of craft,
shrewdness, guile. Philistine enemies,
Philistine friends. Of not eating
so your soul preys in the King's court
hungry, emaciated. Never sleeping
so you slip quietly each night into
shades of induced insanity, strained
eyes fueled by anger of deprivation,
a scent of blood and deceit, riches,
and sex always. You know the game
Benaiah. Abner, Absalom, Uriah:
pawns OF MY OWN SURVIVAL!
THERE WAS NO OTHER WAY!!!
to hunt snakes than to slither, hiss,
and murder. May God, may my father,
have mercy on my soul…the stained
soul proper …of a politician.

------1 Kings 2:28-35
When the news reached Joab, who had conspired with Adonijah though not with Absalom, he fled to the tent of the Lord and took hold of the horns of the altar. King Solomon was told that Joab had fled to the tent of the Lord and was beside the altar. Then Solomon ordered Benaiah son of Jehoiada, “Go, strike him down!” So Benaiah entered the tent of the Lord and said to Joab, “The king says, ‘Come out!’” But he answered, “No, I will die here.” Benaiah reported to the king, “This is how Joab answered me.” Then the king commanded Benaiah, “Do as he says. Strike him down and bury him, and so clear me and my whole family of the guilt of the innocent blood that Joab shed. The Lord will repay him for the blood he shed, because without my father David knowing it he attacked two men and killed them with the sword. Both of them—Abner son of Ner, commander of Israel’s army, and Amasa son of Jether, commander of Judah’s army—were better men and more upright than he. May the guilt of their blood rest on the head of Joab and his descendants forever. But on David and his descendants, his house and his throne, may there be the Lord’s peace forever.” So Benaiah son of Jehoiada went up and struck down Joab and killed him, and he was buried at his home out in the country. The king put Benaiah son of Jehoiada over the army in Joab’s position and replaced Abiathar with Zadok the priest.

The Chase #IamJonah

+-----------The Chase; The Thoughts Of Jonah Awoken From Sleep In The Lower Deck By The Ship's Captain

I first beheld them in Gath-hepher
as a boy, often at night- long shadows
of tall winged men cast by the full
moon. Standing over me. Like two
ravens perched, desperate for flesh
of the vulnerable. And Ive spent my
life running, their voices corroborating
the voice of God urging me “Go to Nineveh”,
to a disgusting peoples. But now they’ve
brought barge calamity, squalls, black mist,
on seas of my refuge. The scared seamen
tell me they see them too now. Two appalling
upper deck apparitions who wont be
appeased with me on onboard. Fate,
Destiny have come for answers…the
ultimate ultimatum: submit to them, or
take chances overboard into waves raging.

----------------Jonah 1:9-17
He answered, “I am a Hebrew and I worship the Lord, the God of heaven, who made the sea and the dry land.” This terrified them and they asked, “What have you done?” (They knew he was running away from the Lord, because he had already told them so.) The sea was getting rougher and rougher. So they asked him, “What should we do to you to make the sea calm down for us?” “Pick me up and throw me into the sea,” he replied, “and it will become calm. I know that it is my fault that this great storm has come upon you.” Instead, the men did their best to row back to land. But they could not, for the sea grew even wilder than before. Then they cried out to the Lord, “Please, Lord, do not let us die for taking this man’s life. Do not hold us accountable for killing an innocent man, for you, Lord, have done as you pleased.” Then they took Jonah and threw him overboard, and the raging sea grew calm. At this the men greatly feared the Lord, and they offered a sacrifice to the Lord and made vows to him. Now the Lord provided a huge fish to swallow Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

+--------Taylor Swift's Lyre, Tony Conti's Healing

Oh Taylor, singleness is the sad song
of demons in my (King Saul's)
chambers, sonically incoherent
wailing of dating rejections by
cruel girls from misery’s dimension;
Hollow echoes from hell’s flames
of the loneliest scarred
souls that cross over chasms of
hopelessness and morph joy-monarchs
into morose men. Oh babes, and my
crown of pride is aslant, my coquet
head sloping in melancholy at these
deafening discordant notes of a heart
in romance's silence. But you are my
Davidic “chosen one”, a sweet shepherd
of charm-prophesy, sacred oil poured pure,
harmonizer of seduction. That blonde hair
and blue eyes like a lyre playing
mesmeric tunes of lovers’ bliss always.
If you took me to Starbucks, I’d smile
again. If you kissed me…the lyric exorcism
of Valentine curses. Melodies of peace,
harmony over our coffee steam. Your lips.

------1 Samuel 16:14-23
Now the Spirit of the Lord had departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him. Saul’s attendants said to him, “See, an evil spirit from God is tormenting you. Let our lord command his servants here to search for someone who can play the lyre. He will play when the evil spirit from God comes on you, and you will feel better.” So Saul said to his attendants, “Find someone who plays well and bring him to me.” One of the servants answered, “I have seen a son of Jesse of Bethlehem who knows how to play the lyre. He is a brave man and a warrior. He speaks well and is a fine-looking man. And the Lord is with him.” Then Saul sent messengers to Jesse and said, “Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.” So Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine and a young goat and sent them with his son David to Saul. David came to Saul and entered his service. Saul liked him very much, and David became one of his armor-bearers. Then Saul sent word to Jesse, saying, “Allow David to remain in my service, for I am pleased with him.” Whenever the spirit from God came on Saul, David would take up his lyre and play. Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would leave him

+--------Frank Sea; The Winds And Waves Of Grammys Inanity

Frank, your boorish, misguided
Grammys diatribe about Taylor Swift-
a squall on seas of irrelevance
not quite an Ocean; An attempt
to capsize Taylor Swift’s career, that
beautiful boat of wood harmoniously
hewn. She asleep to your mindless bile
me as her loyal disciple
beside her, scowling with vengeful
mien at the elements. And you
blather like your impassioned singing,
gale-conjured, yet as impotent
as the force of your albums on Billboard
charts. Your voice wind howling
over bodies of water, stadiums empty.
For Taylor’s platinum records are edicts
divine, her standing tall with commands
“Quiet! Be Still [Frank]!” “Numbers
don’t lie! Youre not on my level.”
And now waves, winds of your ranting
can cease. Die down, stay calm.

------Mark 4:35-41
That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.”  Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”

The #NBA's King David/MVP: John Wall #TonyandWall

+-----------The NBA's King David/MVP: John Wall

John, you’ve waited some time for this
I know, a shepherd on hills nurturing his
ball skills as sheep...gazing the at stars
in grandiosity sparkling. Your deft dribbling
as pasture acumen, your fancy passing like
you tending to the Wizards' flock philosophy
of “teamwork,” “sticking together”
despite bears, lions of onerous
Eastern Conference defense. (Protecting
fleece like your own skin diving into
crowds to save a possession.) And now
the consensus of fans, the prophet
Samuel weary of Saul, Lebron James- the
NBA’s hitherto faux ruler of divine
disapproval- has coronated a new King! The
scented sacred oil of recognition poured on
your head, beard, from the horn of hard
work: you preferred over other young guards
like seven dejected sons of Jesse. ALL HAIL
KING JOHN  IN 2017…(KING DAVID, MVP);
King James deposed.

----------------1 Samuel 16:1-13
The Lord said to Samuel, “How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him as king over Israel? Fill your horn with oil and be on your way; I am sending you to Jesse of Bethlehem. I have chosen one of his sons to be king.” But Samuel said, “How can I go? If Saul hears about it, he will kill me.” The Lord said, “Take a heifer with you and say, ‘I have come to sacrifice to the Lord.’ Invite Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will show you what to do. You are to anoint for me the one I indicate.” Samuel did what the Lord said. When he arrived at Bethlehem, the elders of the town trembled when they met him. They asked, “Do you come in peace?” Samuel replied, “Yes, in peace; I have come to sacrifice to the Lord. Consecrate yourselves and come to the sacrifice with me.” Then he consecrated Jesse and his sons and invited them to the sacrifice. When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, “Surely the Lord’s anointed stands here before the Lord.” But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” Then Jesse called Abinadab and had him pass in front of Samuel. But Samuel said, “The Lord has not chosen this one either.”  Jesse then had Shammah pass by, but Samuel said, “Nor has the Lord chosen this one.” Jesse had seven of his sons pass before Samuel, but Samuel said to him, “The Lord has not chosen these.” So he asked Jesse, “Are these all the sons you have?” “There is still the youngest,” Jesse answered. “He is tending the sheep.” Samuel said, “Send for him; we will not sit down until he arrives.” So he sent for him and had him brought in. He was glowing with health and had a fine appearance and handsome features. Then the Lord said, “Rise and anoint him; this is the one.” So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah.

+--------Going Home; Ezekiel's Thoughts On Freedom From Babylonian Captivity

And so this is the Hebrew’s tart
fruit’s (rotted on the blood branch, from
the Tree of the Knowledge of Good,
Evil of false prophets dangling) taste
of barbarous enslavement on scarred
souls’ palates of notional rebellion:
Babylonian schadenfreude-
taunts, innocent men killed, kids bereft
of homes, their moms. Our inhumane
consequence for idol bows; our stern
hearts of stone scoffing in spirit
at submitting to Mosaic law. But this
isn’t the end. We shouldnt lose hope,
revolution, restoration hastens. Then
God’ll give us hearts of flesh soft
to serve him…Then we'll dance in
Israel's dust again, not on foreign land.

------Ezekiel 36:16-29
Again the word of the Lord came to me:  “Son of man, when the people of Israel were living in their own land, they defiled it by their conduct and their actions. Their conduct was like a woman’s monthly uncleanness in my sight. So I poured out my wrath on them because they had shed blood in the land and because they had defiled it with their idols. I dispersed them among the nations, and they were scattered through the countries; I judged them according to their conduct and their actions. And wherever they went among the nations they profaned my holy name, for it was said of them, ‘These are the Lord’s people, and yet they had to leave his land.’ I had concern for my holy name, which the people of Israel profaned among the nations where they had gone. “Therefore say to the Israelites, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, people of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone. I will show the holiness of my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am the Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I am proved holy through you before their eyes. “‘For I will take you out of the nations; I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you from all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God. I will save you from all your uncleanness. I will call for the grain and make it plentiful and will not bring famine upon you.

+--------Taylor Swift Removing Tony Conti's Dating Grave Stone

Taylor its no secret now
that my heart lies dying,
a Hebrew man behind a
rock of loneliness entombed
in Judea, four days like
a decade – by now rotting
with the stench of romantic
death. Dating denials by cruel
girls: decay of flesh. And you are
my sole hope – tall, blonde,
charming, beautiful, my Savior
of love, a smile full of miracles
like resurrection. To sit across
from you at Starbucks, to kiss
your lips softly just once-a stern
imperative to the throngs of joyless
inertia of my soul,“take away the
stone!!!” (of singleness). A glance
from your blue eyes like me tearing
emotional grave clothes. Like you
yelling “TONY COME OUT!!!”
to the world "as my new boyfriend!"

------John 11:38-44
Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone laid across the entrance. “Take away the stone,” he said. “But, Lord,” said Martha, the sister of the dead man, “by this time there is a bad odor, for he has been there four days.” Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?” So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!” The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

+-------- Blank Space; Moses' Thoughts When Journaling The Creation Story

And for some chaos is opportunistic,
darkness malformed, fury
of turbulent entropic waves colliding
and crashing against stony
nothingness …the froth of sea foam
angst-residue of angels fallen. As
if the uncaused world bleeds,
seething at Satan for his dearth of
hospitality, his pride ash of corruption
sprinkled onto another realm
unsuspecting, indiscriminately. But
love transcends all of this. Its horizons
broader, its scope much more optimistic…
it pines for calamity’s contrast: A spirit
hovering over the waters of blank space,
faith witnessing glory before its creation,
bellowing in triumph-speech of
crucifixion, resurrection, redemption
of man: “LET THERE BE LIGHT!!!!”
I need the darkness for light.
I need the darkness for light.

------Genesis 1:1-3
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

----Blank Space Lyrics

Nice to meet you, where you been?
I could show you incredible things
Magic, madness, heaven, sin
Saw you there and I thought
Oh my God, look at that face
You look like my next mistake
Love's a game, wanna play?

New money, suit and tie
I can read you like a magazine
Ain't it funny, rumors fly
And I know you heard about me
So hey, let's be friends
I'm dying to see how this one ends
Grab your passport and my hand
I can make the bad guys good for a weekend

So it's gonna be forever
Or it's gonna go down in flames
You can tell me when it's over
If the high was worth the pain
Got a long list of ex-lovers
They'll tell you I'm insane
'Cause you know I love the players
And you love the game

'Cause we're young and we're reckless
We'll take this way too far
It'll leave you breathless
Or with a nasty scar
Got a long list of ex-lovers
They'll tell you I'm insane
But I've got a blank space, baby
And I'll write your name

Cherry lips, crystal skies
I could show you incredible things
Stolen kisses, pretty lies
You're the King, baby, I'm your Queen
Find out what you want
Be that girl for a month
Wait, the worst is yet to come, oh no

Screaming, crying, perfect storms
I can make all the tables turn
Rose garden filled with thorns
Keep you second guessing like
"Oh my God, who is she?"
I get drunk on jealousy
But you'll come back each time you leave
'Cause, darling, I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream

So it's gonna be forever
Or it's gonna go down in flames
You can tell me when it's over
If the high was worth the pain
Got a long list of ex-lovers
They'll tell you I'm insane
'Cause you know I love the players
And you love the game

'Cause we're young and we're reckless
We'll take this way too far
It'll leave you breathless
Or with a nasty scar
Got a long list of ex-lovers
They'll tell you I'm insane
But I've got a blank space, baby
And I'll write your name

Boys only want love if it's torture
Don't say I didn't say, I didn't warn ya
Boys only want love if it's torture
Don't say I didn't say, I didn't warn ya

So it's gonna be forever
Or it's gonna go down in flames
You can tell me when it's over
If the high was worth the pain
Got a long list of ex-lovers
They'll tell you I'm insane
'Cause you know I love the players
And you love the game

'Cause we're young and we're reckless
We'll take this way too far

+--------The Giant Of Tony Conti's Dateless Life Felled By Taylor Swift

And Taylor, I know singleness-
gnarled, grizzled, crass giant
of girls’ dating refusals, of lonely
nights sans romance, and glares
covetous at other couples:
indefatigable, six cubits and
a span in height with putrid breath
of low self-esteem, Philistine. His
bronze helmet of arrogance fit snug,
armor five thousand shekels
of hopelessness heavy- scoffing
at my odds of love, taunts spat on
a chosen people liberated once
by 10 divine plagues in Egypt. But
babes, you are 5 smooth stones
in my shepherd’s bag of longing
– beautiful, charming, witty, fun,
melodious- weapons for a daunting
fight. If you take me to Starbucks,
courage to use my joy-sling. A kiss
from your lips, a flick of your blonde
hair like me hurling rocks raging. It’d be
my last night sad, a lifeless prostrate
gargantuan body licking dust. Relics of
you and me flirting buried between
open eyes of a reviled foe, beheaded
by the sword of our bliss.

------1 Samuel 17:1-51
Now the Philistines gathered their forces for war and assembled at Sokoh in Judah. They pitched camp at Ephes Dammim, between Sokoh and Azekah. Saul and the Israelites assembled and camped in the Valley of Elah and drew up their battle line to meet the Philistines. The Philistines occupied one hill and the Israelites another, with the valley between them. A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. His height was six cubits and a span. He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels; on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back.  His spear shaft was like a weaver’s rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels. His shield bearer went ahead of him. Goliath stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel, “Why do you come out and line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and are you not the servants of Saul? Choose a man and have him come down to me. 9 If he is able to fight and kill me, we will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you will become our subjects and serve us.” Then the Philistine said, “This day I defy the armies of Israel! Give me a man and let us fight each other.” On hearing the Philistine’s words, Saul and all the Israelites were dismayed and terrified. Now David was the son of an Ephrathite named Jesse, who was from Bethlehem in Judah. Jesse had eight sons, and in Saul’s time he was very old.  Jesse’s three oldest sons had followed Saul to the war: The firstborn was Eliab; the second, Abinadab; and the third, Shammah. David was the youngest. The three oldest followed Saul, but David went back and forth from Saul to tend his father’s sheep at Bethlehem. For forty days the Philistine came forward every morning and evening and took his stand. Now Jesse said to his son David, “Take this ephah of roasted grain and these ten loaves of bread for your brothers and hurry to their camp. Take along these ten cheeses to the commander of their unit. See how your brothers are and bring back some assurance from them. They are with Saul and all the men of Israel in the Valley of Elah, fighting against the Philistines.” Early in the morning David left the flock in the care of a shepherd, loaded up and set out, as Jesse had directed. He reached the camp as the army was going out to its battle positions, shouting the war cry. Israel and the Philistines were drawing up their lines facing each other. David left his things with the keeper of supplies, ran to the battle lines and asked his brothers how they were. As he was talking with them, Goliath, the Philistine champion from Gath, stepped out from his lines and shouted his usual defiance, and David heard it. Whenever the Israelites saw the man, they all fled from him in great fear. Now the Israelites had been saying, “Do you see how this man keeps coming out? He comes out to defy Israel. The king will give great wealth to the man who kills him. He will also give him his daughter in marriage and will exempt his family from taxes in Israel.” David asked the men standing near him, “What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?” They repeated to him what they had been saying and told him, “This is what will be done for the man who kills him.” When Eliab, David’s oldest brother, heard him speaking with the men, he burned with anger at him and asked, “Why have you come down here? And with whom did you leave those few sheep in the wilderness? I know how conceited you are and how wicked your heart is; you came down only to watch the battle.” “Now what have I done?” said David. “Can’t I even speak?” He then turned away to someone else and brought up the same matter, and the men answered him as before. What David said was overheard and reported to Saul, and Saul sent for him. David said to Saul, “Let no one lose heart on account of this Philistine; your servant will go and fight him.” Saul replied, “You are not able to go out against this Philistine and fight him; you are only a young man, and he has been a warrior from his youth.” But David said to Saul, “Your servant has been keeping his father’s sheep. When a lion or a bear came and carried off a sheep from the flock, I went after it, struck it and rescued the sheep from its mouth. When it turned on me, I seized it by its hair, struck it and killed it. Your servant has killed both the lion and the bear; this uncircumcised Philistine will be like one of them, because he has defied the armies of the living God. The Lord who rescued me from the paw of the lion and the paw of the bear will rescue me from the hand of this Philistine.” Saul said to David, “Go, and the Lord be with you.” Then Saul dressed David in his own tunic. He put a coat of armor on him and a bronze helmet on his head. David fastened on his sword over the tunic and tried walking around, because he was not used to them. “I cannot go in these,” he said to Saul, “because I am not used to them.” So he took them off. Then he took his staff in his hand, chose five smooth stones from the stream, put them in the pouch of his shepherd’s bag and, with his sling in his hand, approached the Philistine. Meanwhile, the Philistine, with his shield bearer in front of him, kept coming closer to David. He looked David over and saw that he was little more than a boy, glowing with health and handsome, and he despised him. He said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come at me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods. “Come here,” he said, “and I’ll give your flesh to the birds and the wild animals!” David said to the Philistine, “You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the Lord Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied. This day the Lord will deliver you into my hands, and I’ll strike you down and cut off your head. This very day I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds and the wild animals, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you into our hands.” As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground. So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him. David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine’s sword and drew it from the sheath. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword.

+--------A Prophet's Angst; Samuel's Thoughts In The Tabernacle

Eli is old. All I know soon
gone. I extrapolate often,
Moses atop Pisgah sighing,
peering, his eyes canvassing
out from Gilead to Dan wondering
if he lived well enough; Too, I
wonder at times about my life
in its fullness. Especially on nights
restless in the Tabernacle,
shadows cast on walls by candle
flames that flicker dancing
drunkards (Eli's sons), I muse
will I please  God? I chant before
sleep in soliloquy speech “If God
called Samuel!!…what would you
say?” Would you answer yes?
Would you chase a life no one
else may understand?

------1 Samuel 3:1-10
The boy Samuel ministered before the Lord under Eli. In those days the word of the Lord was rare; there were not many visions. One night Eli, whose eyes were becoming so weak that he could barely see, was lying down in his usual place. The lamp of God had not yet gone out, and Samuel was lying down in the house of the Lord, where the ark of God was. Then the Lord called Samuel. Samuel answered, “Here I am.” And he ran to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” But Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” So he went and lay down. Again the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” “My son,” Eli said, “I did not call; go back and lie down.” Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him. A third time the Lord called, “Samuel!” And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, “Here I am; you called me.” Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”

+------------The Gift and The Curse; Joseph's Thoughts After His Incarceration In Egypt

In Egypt past dreams in Canaan,
a curse. In my heart entrenched
aspirations of greatness
spawn scoffing specters of comparative
savagery strengthening my chains,
saluting fears of failure above the
warden’s candles as I try to sleep.
Tossing and turning, restless.
But my gift of faith. I still
believe despite
somnambulant ramblings
of a troubled baker, grotesque
snoring of a butler, erroneous
accusations of a sex crime. I will rise
again out of this mess. One day
(liberated) these fetters and bars will
seem like relics of God’s faithfulness
to set a soul free: redeeming the
irredeemable, honoring a man’s
pursuit of the impossible.

----------------Genesis 39:16-23
She kept his cloak beside her until his master came home. Then she told him this story: “That Hebrew slave you brought us came to me to make sport of me. But as soon as I screamed for help, he left his cloak beside me and ran out of the house.” When his master heard the story his wife told him, saying, “This is how your slave treated me,” he burned with anger. Joseph’s master took him and put him in prison, the place where the king’s prisoners were confined. But while Joseph was there in the prison, the Lord was with him; he showed him kindness and granted him favor in the eyes of the prison warden. So the warden put Joseph in charge of all those held in the prison, and he was made responsible for all that was done there. The warden paid no attention to anything under Joseph’s care, because the Lord was with Joseph and gave him success in whatever he did.

+------------Tony Conti and Matt Ryan's Wedding Feast Turn Up In  Houston

Matt, up until now bland water
in Atlanta, its Falcons-fan-denizens
guests at a wedding banquet cum
inert crowd languishing over time,
their souls pining for a Lombardi trophy
52 years. The music is humdrum, the
desire to dance the “Dirty Bird” dying
slowly in hearts of season ticket holders
railing against Tom Brady as Caesar.
But Julio Jones is like a Virgin Mother on
the field: skills Holy, impeccable, urging you
“Matt, there is no wine!” Though you never
imagined your hour to win a ring had already
come. And your offensive line’s passion is 6
stone jars holding 30 gallons of water; every
run play to Devonta Freeman and Tevin
Coleman like you barking to the Patriot’s
defense “FILL THE JARS WITH WATER!!!”
After scoring touchdowns passes like the
wedding just began in Houston, Arthur
Blank will exclaim- “Everyone brings out the
choice wine first and then the cheaper wine
after the guests have had too much to drink;
but you have saved the best till now.” In ATL
partying will never stop, your Superbowl
ring – a 1st century Jewish wedding band.

----------------John 2:1-11
On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there, and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding. When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.” “Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.” Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.” They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.” What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

+--------Taylor Swift: Tony Conti's Waters Of Meribah

Taylor, my singleness is a
motley assemblage of Hebrew
transients, robes of soul chafed from
a frenzied flight for heart freedom, fleeing
(hopeful: Red Sea of the past riven)
whip-scars’ terror of girls’ dating
refusals, from overbearing loneliness
like scoffing taskmasters in Egypt
with bronzed skin, black eyes of
despairing, reptilian. Always thirsty,
famished – fools crying for a date as
for Egypt’s delusions: grain, figs,
grapevines, pomegranates as affections
from girls who are never coming back;
and Im agitated. Oh babes and you
know you are, always will be, my rock.
Your blonde hair, blue eyes, sweet voice
my solid lover’s foundation. Green tea
with you at Starbucks a miracle wood
staff of glee in hand, a kiss from your
soft lips a double strike of my joy on stone,
zeal thrusted. If you smiled at me, gushing
water satisfying my deepest longings... I'd
have strength for love's march to Canaan.

------Numbers 20:2-13
Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. They quarreled with Moses and said, “If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the Lord! Why did you bring the Lord’s community into this wilderness, that we and our livestock should die here? Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!” Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the Lord appeared to them. The Lord said to Moses, “Take the staff, and you and your brother Aaron gather the assembly together. Speak to that rock before their eyes and it will pour out its water. You will bring water out of the rock for the community so they and their livestock can drink.” So Moses took the staff from the Lord’s presence, just as he commanded him. He and Aaron gathered the assembly together in front of the rock and Moses said to them, “Listen, you rebels, must we bring you water out of this rock?” Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank. But the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not trust in me enough to honor me as holy in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this community into the land I give them.” These were the waters of Meribah, where the Israelites quarreled with the Lord and where he was proved holy among them.
